Great traditional pub with great friendly, welcoming staff. A Very large Beer Garden, with cocktail bar and wall mounted TVs was a big suprise. It Also has a Very good function room at the rear of the pub that probably holds about 90-100 people. It has a fantastic choice of beers, ciders and wines.
We visited for a Sunday roast as we had been told they were very good. The food was wonderful, lovely roast dinner. We will be returning. It was also nice to sit out the back in the covered garden to finish our drinks.
Love this pub, proper pub. No riff raff, can come in and enjoy a pint or two without getting disturbed. Great place to take your kids, mine loves it. Also dog friendly

Visited the pub due to a Santa's Grotto and really enjoyed it - very nice atmosphere with a great secret garden at the back!

Went for 1 pint before a gig at hare and hounds. Lovely beer selection, walked into one of the best beer gardens I've seen in a pub aswell.

It's great to find a pub with a live band, let alone on a Monday night, let alone TWO different blues and reggae bands on a Monday night!!
Great atmosphere. Has been redecorated. Good beers. A proper pub. Rock and Blues Music on Monday and Thursday evenings. And the first Friday of the month. Sunday lunches are really good... Like home cooked food. April 2023... Still as good as ever. June 2023. Just as great as ever. August 2023 it's

First visit to this pub with friends it had a great atmosphere and brilliant outdoor space for smokers would happily go again. We didn't eat.
What an absolutely awesome, place, set of people and experience. The staff go above and beyond, make you feel super special like nothing is too much, the food was delightful and fruit cocktails were to die for 🥰
