Silver Hake Fish Bar And Restaurant

This is my first time visiting this establishment. I place a high value on customer service, and I was pleased to find that the service here was excellent. The food was served promptly to our table, eliminating any unnecessary waiting. The food itself was visually appealing and of exceptional quality. It is the best fish and chip shop meal I have had in quite some time.

So my sister brought home some fish and chips yesterday and I had some fish and honestly, it was the best fish I had in a while. Turns out it was from silver hakes. I thought no it can’t be , I’ve been there for the past 10 years now and while it wasn’t bad, it definitely wasn’t the best quality I’ve ever had. Just got some fish and chips for my self and the missus and it is INCREDIBLE. I haven’t eaten here since just before the pandemic but I will definitely be a regular again. The food is 5 stars, but i wish they took card

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Seen a post of this place so I went down straightaway. Everything is made fresh and in front of you, really fresh cod fish, proper crispy and flaky inside. Chips were really tasty and the curry sauce was delicious. Really good customer service. Definitely recommend this place for sure.

Suprised i've never tried Silver Hake before. Definetly one of the best fish and chips around, to be honest cant think of anything local that is better. Regualr fish and chips cost £4.90 which is reasonable. Portion size was good. FIsh fried to order so was nice and fresh and hot. Chips are amazing, dont know what they fry them in but they taste delicious and completly different from other chip shops. This is without a doubt going to be our go to fish and chips place. Look forward to trying other items off their menu.
