Visited here for a quick snack, dumplings was excellent, fast service and friendly, and polite in front of the house.
Finally, looking at a menu, everything seemed to be reasonably priced.
Hot and hearty food, not necessarily spicy, more a slight peppery kick to their lamb curry with either rice or chips (I’d say chips are better). I prefer the same option from Khans though hence the 4 stars. Some different drink options too are worth a try.
Elite experience, a regular customer & constantly impressed every time I go. Got the extra large brown stew chicken meal which was superb - highly recommend this spot!!!
I visited Blue marlin after many years and I was not disappointed.
Definitely one of the most underrated places in Birmingham for Jamaican food.
The food is always consistent and the portion sizes are value for money.

Today, me and my partner went to this place for some Jamaican takeaway. We absolutely loved the food, I ordered the lamb mutton with rice and my partner who has asperger's and is a very wary eater ordered the jerk chicken and chips, he loved the chicken which I am very happy about becuase he almost never eats foreign food since its new to him. Thank you so much, will definitely be coming again soon.
Ordered Jerk Chicken and Fried Chicken meals with rice and peas. Also a couple of patties.
Its been a while since I had a good Jerk Chicken meal. The boneless breast was cooked to perfection, nice, soft and tender.
The Lamb pattie was alright but the Jerk Beef was 🔥🔥🔥, full of flavour .
Food is perfect!! They always cater to our fussy needs and the food is always hot and fresh. There’s a little wait each time but that shows how in demand they are and how fresh the food is. Can never fault it
One of the best Caribbean takeaways in Birmingham. Happy to see business is thriving and they have opened another shop. A few years ago I used to eat here everyday and even though I don't visit as regular anymore the food quality and taste is still excellent.
I travel from Croydon to Birmingham on a regular basis.
Tried this place out and the food is 10/10, freshly made and the lady serving me was very friendly which is different usually we get alot of attitude in jerk shops down Croydon, kind of a norm lol.
Also One of girls ran to my car when they realised they forgot the plantain.
Good service and good food. Definitely recommend.
Amazing food, reasonably priced, good service and consistent food over the last 5/6 years of me visiting - has become my number 1 Jamaican restaurant and takeaway with my go-to dish being Jerk chicken and rice! Recommend to call ahead and order as wait can be a little long, but you cant rush good food and its always worth it!
