All the loves goes to making the food, just like I had expected when I walked into this poorly decorated, owner operated, restaurant. It was my 1st time in Birmingham and I was on the hunt for quality and authentic Chinese food and No.1 Chinese Cafe delivered.
Authentic and good cheap Chinese.
I had the Pork and Bean Curd with a spring roll pancake; good stuff and not the sort of thing you get in many places.
5 stars. If you are interested in ambience this is not for you. If you are interested in real Chinese food look no further.

Delicious authentic homemade Chinese food. We had the bāozi 包子 and Bing. Also tried the soy milk which was freshly prepared. Having lived in Birmingham for almost 2 years I regret not coming here sooner. I highly recommend to give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Many options for delivery and takeaway.
Excellent. Always clean, the staff are polite and the food is great. They do 'English' Chinese on a separate menu and if you want something more authentic they help you choose.

I only purchased a chicken chow main which was reasonably priced, especially when I realised how big the portion was. Customer service was great, the only constructive criticism I have is that it's badly in need of a spruce up.
Best homemade steamed bun in Brummie, 1GBP for a big one.
Many stir fried dish options less for around 7GBP.
If you are a spicy food lover, try their Sichuan fried chicken!
Not from Birmingham went to the theatre and after needed food was recommended by someone in the street, service was brill and food was amazing the chips and beef/chicken chow meins were amazing, better then are Chinese in Stafford, Thankyou
