Visited for the first time at the weekend and was very impressed by the effort gone in to the place - it has a friendly vibe, wide selection of drinks and great music for fans of steampunk, swing, vintage and so on. Nice to see a themed bar as a nice alternative to more mainstream establishments. Ha
Cogs Bar has brought the Steam Punk concept into a fantastic reality in Birmingham.
I was surprised to see such sophisticated steam punk design elements and features. It is a comfortable, chilled out, relaxing place to meet new people and have a blast.

Fantastic atmosphere, its so different to any other bar i've been to in Birmingham. Great drinks, music and staff!

I love the food! Believe me or not but Indian cuisine is my favourite, I travel a lot for work, and I've eaten in many Indian restaurants. The food here was very good and service is outstanding. I can definitely recommend this place and will go back if I can.
One of my favourite new bars, great look and good staff, the stage os pretty small for bands to perform on but over all a great venue
Hosts Funeral Nation for a Dead Generation (goth, industrial, EBM, synth and future pop, hard electronic) every month with three floors! Great place.
