Definetely best chinese takeout in the area
Great value tasty food and kind lady at the counter. Decent chunks of chicken in sweet and sour sauce. Salt and pepper King prawns decent size and juicy. Chow mein and fried rice also nice and full of flavour. Ordered 3 mains and one starter and got extra spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce witch was a really nice gesture

I have been using Chester house in November last year, every time I have had a takeaway, it's like the first time, always really clean reception, gorgeous, tasty π€€π meals and not costly, everything is good π―, I won't go to another Chinese takeaway ever again π― perfect.
I have used Chester House for some time now. The food is always very tasty. The staff are also very friendly and greet me, by name, each time I visit.
It's a shame that I can only give five stars.

Enjoyed a very good Singapore Vermicelli for Β£5.70. It was quiet around 745 and only waited 10 minutes.

Very nice Chinese Takeaway. Food is very nice. Always arrives hot. Delivery drivers could be better still. Shop is conveniently situated on the Chester Road with other shops opp Maccy D's...
Food is always consistent in quality and have always had a good take away meal of very good taste and portion size.
The only gripe is that on a few occasions the woman behind the counter comes across quite sharp and rude. As it is minor and maybe she is unaware that she comes across the way she does but food is good enough to be able to put up with that anyway. Lol
I had king prawn chow mein, usually you get a few prawns n loads of noodles, at Chester house I had loads of king prawns that were delicious. I've never had a bad meal from here. Always piping hot, tasty and excellent value for money. I highly recommend this Chinese takeaway

Very tasty and hot food. We've eaten here a couple of times. The first time we expected a bog standard Chinese takeaway. We found the food was fresh, very good quality and comparable to top restaurants we've had. The last time we ate here it was quite late at night after a long day and we had low expectations. To my surprise the food was tasty and piping hot. We really enjoyed it. It may not look like the most salubrious of places - but we have always enjoyed our food.The squid with pepper and salt was out of this world.
We order a takeaway nearly every week from Chester House and we have never been disappointed. Always great food and great service in the shop and delivery drivers are always friendly and polite.

Used the delivery service for our first time using Chester House. My goodness, the food was delicious. Lots of it. Still got when delivered. Didn't wait long at all. VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. Highly recommended.

We keep ordering deliveries from here. Tonight's dinner was so exquisite that it reminded me that I should really write a review. Three of us had separate orders. I'll talk about mine. I had a portion of beansprouts and a portion of king prawn vermicelli. The food was delivered to us so piping hot and freshly made that it was as if it had been brought to the lounge directly from the kitchen. The beansprouts fresh out of the wok, full sprouts with such a savoury flavour to them, ginger, chilli and garlic permeating the vegetable. The beansprouts were also served with a smattering of delicious carrots and onions, al dente but just enough to compliment the beansprouts. So moreish that I ate all the very generous portion. Next I had king prawn vemicelli and what a delight that was. Another very generous portion, piping hot, direct from the kitchen. The vermicelli were infused with garlic, ginger and chilli flavours too and the plump fresh king prawns were plentiful and had a delicious chargrilled hint to them, such must have been the heat of the wok. This all came with tasty prawn crackers with a delightful crunch to them. Quite honestly, even though I was full two thirds of the way through everything was so moreish I polished it all off! Exquisite and never fails to please. My Dad and his partner hoovered up their food too. All in all this takeaway is an absolute winner every single time. I'm a terrible foodie and it's nothing but a pleasure to give Chester House a rave review.
