Located inside the bullring the pizza express is ideal to take a lunch break in between the shopping spree. The service is prompt and the big windows gives you views of the city life moving buy. The pizzas are amazing and so is the simplistic decor.
Great food and friendly staff, what more could you ask for. Not being inside a shopping mall I suppose. Location is hard to find but is on the second floor of the mall next to Starbucks. Highly recommend the calzone or burnt ends pizza.
With Pitti Uomo coming up this week, I was in the mood for some Italian food. However my children were feeling something completely different so we found a common ground with Pizza Express.
If you are a parent, then you would know children love things oddities such as butter so they ordered that with some dough balls. These are always very tasty for carb lovers so you can’t go amiss with this.
Next thing to arrive was the magherita pizza which doesn’t necessarily hit the spot but does a good enough job.
They do special deals for children so they can enjoy a three course meal for very cheap. Maybe the price represents the quality of food but it is value for money.
If you are looking for some proper Italian cuisine then this may not be the place for it or even an alternative but for a decent lunch option in a middle of a shopping centre then it’s not so bad.
Was very busy when we visited and found the narrow entrance/exit alley a bit cramped waiting for a table with people going past. The food was delicious though.
Visited pizza express a while ago for lunch and the food exceeded my expectations. The garlic bread was was warm and cheesy. The calamari was fresh and the pizza was immaculate!! The crust was cooked to order and the prawns were fresh and juicy. Highly recommend!!

Incredible birthday party for my 10 year old.
The staff were all welcoming, friendly, jovial and tried their absolute best.
They waited on us when some were late to the party and quickly got latecomers involved. The lady who brought us our drinks was so so lovely and smiley, she’s a credit to the store and company.
The manager who delivered the actual party was fun, had a sense of humour and kept us all in check very well, the kids loved him!
They got dough balls, to make their own pizza and ice cream which was served beautifully and the food hygiene was second to none.
The best party and Oscar loved it.
Plenty of space and they accommodated adults as well as the kids. I honestly cannot fault it in anyway.
Thank you so much. We will be visiting again soon.

The vegetarian pizza I had was excellent and filling along with my starter of garlic bread and soft drink, cannot fault the service overall.
Nice spot in the shopping mall not so crowded.
I liked the dough balls, accomplished with a rainbow slaw a very good lunch snack.

Not super impressed with the size of the mushroom arancini but it was tasty. Our server was great, attentive but not too much. Puddings were nearly £8 each so we didn't have any in the end.
The food quality was fine. Service was friendly but a little bit and miss when it came to taking the order. Location was clean and tidy. Would visit again.

Went to Pizza Express to enjoy a nice lunch and I'd heard they had some good vegan options. My vegan pizza was crispy and well-seasoned, really tasty. The vegan dough balls were just, well, dough, with no garlic flavouring (maybe there was no vegan alternative to the garlic butter?) and the sauce that accompanied it was deliciously tangy.
Staff were also very friendly and service was quick. We were quite hungry and we were glad not to have to wait long to eat.
Downsides: the place is quite noisy. Although it's set up for fine dining, the music is very loud and doesn't lend itself to a laid-back, warm atmosphere. The deals offered are explained poorly too, to the point where our (very patient) waitress had to repeat herself multiple times.
Despite confusion and the noise, we had a lovely time.
Went for a quick bite on a Sunday shopping day and had the most amazing service from Simona!! She recommended Romana base for my pizza and I loved it and helped me with my wine choice, reminded me of my trip to Italy. She was really smiley and so friendly, some of the best service I’ve had in years.
