Possibly the best Indian food I have ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot. Excellent attentive service. I would definitely recommend the Thali menu, although a touch expensive, you get a great combination and the perfect portion size. The chicken was melt in the mouth. One note of caution, if you're in a hurry this is not the place for you. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so there is a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. Even my 3 children ate everything and they are very hard to please. No alcohol licence, but there's a mini-mart a couple of doors away. We'll definitely be back.
Fantastic food and fantastic flavours! Amazing place that serves authentic Indian food which may be slightly different to a ‘typical’ menu but so refreshing to try something different and packed full of taste. Really don’t understand why negative reviews are commenting on it being different to previous restaurant - of course it is!?! It’s a different place! Would highly recommend!
This is the best local Indian curry house. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. As a regular user I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal or experience here. I have relatives who come from Aldridge who use this curry house. Would 100% recommend eating here.
Fabulous authentic home cooking. Delightfully different to your average curry house. Give this place a try. It's not fast food but then you don't want it to be.
Absolutely excellent tasting menu! Totally new and different flavours, which are beautiful! If you’re looking for a fantastic tasting menu look no more. Most of the once star reviews on here are completely unjustified.
Good, fresh food served by attentive and friendly staff. Generous portions too. Very clean and well managed. Parking can sometimes be difficult but if you value reasonably priced good food it is worth a visit.
I visited this Indian Restaurant with friends on a Sunday. On the Sunday they have a deal on that includes a starter and main course (with nan or rice) for £10.95. No thrills, great service and excellent value for money.
Tried this place for the first time Friday just gone. Absolutely brilliant. Speedy service too. No exaggeration to say that I was having a bad day but after eating food from here I felt much better. Would definitely recommend
First time here since the take over and we are extremely impressed!!! Food is beautiful reasonably priced and the service is very Good. Will definitely be back :)
Been twice since new menu started and have really enjoyed both meals, and the refurbed venue, and look forward to the next visit.
We have been going to this restaurant for about 8 years when it was the raj,went last night (29/9)for the first time since the change and we were both delighted.The service was as good as usual,very friendly staff,and the place does not look much different inside although there is new furniture.I went thinking,after i read some of the reviews on here that it would be the last visit but was very pleasantly surprised,the new menu is really tasty,and we did have some popadoms,they still do them,the main course was really nice,yes it is a little more expensive than before but bringing our own wine,we paid £26 for starters main and coffee for two,great value and great food and service.
Amazing food, amazing staff. Specially the twin boys that serve out front. Very good place will definitely go back.
