Good coffee and amazing customer service found here! I sat in the seated area and witnessed some of the best cafe customer service ever. Many people were served very quickly and without any fuss or frustration on display. Groups of paramedics, patients, hospital staff and visitors were all involved in some form of conversation during order taking and whilst making collections. I was really surprised for some reason. It was good to see.
One member of staff went above and beyond helping me with a phone issue I had and considering the circumstances of why I am at the QE today waiting she has no idea how much I value that gesture of kindness.
I feel that the management of this cafe should recognise and reward all the team members working today as they really are doing a great job and are a credit to Costa Coffee. They did not run out of friendliness, enthusiasm and energy in all the time I was here over 2 hours during peak times on a Saturday.

This place was a bit of an oasis!! Really great coffee, made how you like it. Great toasted sandwiches. Very helpful staff. Needed to be just a bit more professional, but they were so busy, ALL of the time, a bit of lightness in the day was probably needed just to keep them going.

came into the store today, not under the best circumstances but Chris served us with a smile and gave us the nicest coffee’s we’ve had for a while, had a chat whilst he made our drinks and he made us laugh whilst we waited. Unfortunately the rest of the team didnt seem to smile or look like they wanted to be there. Store overall seemed messy and we were rushed out as they were closing the seating area, only to be directed to another place to sit by chris, again, incredibly helpful and charismatic. Over all store is worth zero stars but due to Chris I have given them 5*
I have been an inpatient at QEHB for the past 3 weeks . Being very unwell initially and on the step to rehabilitation, I have visited Costa a few times to get my favourite drinks . I found the staff very caring and had a 1:1 approach in understanding what I prefer. Each time , they have almost remembered exactly what I was going to order and showed respect, compassion, sense of humour in offering my drinks from the ordering to the collection process. I am currently starting to feel better in myself and I believe many regular staff at this Costa have been restorative for my ongoing rehabilitation. Thank you QEHB Costa team . I will never forget your smiles and the lovely drinks you offered me.Please share this comment with all the staff at this Costa to make them feel proud of what they do and the impact it has had on patients❤️
A nice Costa in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. More seating available than it may at first seem to have. A good selection of cakes. Friendly efficient staff.
