My fav type of place to eat is the no-non sense 'does what it says on the tin' kitchen restaurant type. Usually in a humble working class town.
Where you get a well cooked full English breakfast & a drink for 6.50 quid.
No fancy decorations. No pretentiousness.
A warm welcoming vibes with everyon
Positive: Good breakfast for the money, nice runny eggs :-D quickly served. Atmosphere was warm and a nice wood theme. Plenty of space for wheelchairs and prams.

For something so simple and cheap, had no complaints. We don't seem to have these cosy little places back home. Just nice and peaceful while you eat. Staff were great too
Our first time there in years as we have never been fans of this place before. Now under new management and we had a lovely breakfast and decent ketchup.
This resteraunt is a welcome addition to the village. Rubery has seen its fair share of fast food outlets over the years, but this one stands out above all others.
The reason for this is the modern, no nonsense approach to excellent quality food in a friendly homely atmosphere.

I have to say my vegetarian breakfast was just a great meal to set me up for the day. Had a cheese salad sandwich 🥪 made up for lunch 😋 amazing food and staff.

Nicely cooked breakfast. Prices are ok and facilities had a revamp (really nice inside).
Couldn’t do enough for us. Food is beautiful and reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back.

Had the goat curry because it sounded amazing and it lived up to expectations! Proper home cooked food, massive portion size as well, and friendly service. My only very minor complaint is that the takeaway came in plastic that can't be recycled but that's my fault for not eating in :)
Exactly what you'd expect from a local cafe. Far more than just another 'greasy spoon', (but the fry ups are awesome 'heart attack on a plate' territory). White pudding, fried bread 😋😋 just how things should be in a good cafe. Nice range of sandwiches, lunches, hot chocolates etc. for the 21st centu
