The Taste of Pakistan Hotel in Birmingham offers a flavorful journey through Pakistani cuisine.
The Sindhi Biryani tantalizes with its aromatic blend of spices, while the Kashmiri Pink Tea provides a soothing accompaniment. The Lamb Karahi bursts with tender meat cooked to perfection, complemented by the Chicken Karahi, though slightly average in comparison.
The roti served adds an authentic touch to the meal. At £40, the bill reflects reasonable pricing for the variety offered.
Ending on a sweet note, the Rasmalai stands out as a delightful treat.
Overall, a satisfying culinary experience with room for improvement in certain dishes.

I've been here a few times and brought a friend from London here who was visiting who absolutely loved it. We got food to share, parathas, halwa puri, cholay, paaye, and tea.
Paratha was lovely and flaky, I don't think they use oil to cook it, maybe ghee/butter, but tastes nice. Puri were lovely and crispy, not oil and floppy, as you can get from some places. Loved the halwa not overly sweet, cholay were ok. Paaye were cooked really nice they came off the bone easily. Overall nice, the deco is nice proper Pakistani style painting on walls like you would get on their lorries and trucks. Seating is real Pakistani style. They have a place to pray too. We also bought some Alsi ke panjeeri, gajarela. There is plenty of methai and different types of panjeeri to choose from, curries and snacks.

Excellent taste and place. Nan were fab. Ordered lamb nihari, halwa puri, chana and tea. Chana and tea were okish but overall great breakfast.

If you have been to Birmingham and you are of South Asian heritage and you didn’t try “Taste of Pakistan” then you are not a foodie!!! Their breakfast menu with Paya, Nehari, Halwa, and signature Puri are to die for. Absolute treat, friendly staff, amazing traditional truck or rickshaw decor, and great ambience. Love that place. You will love it too.

I recently tried some sweets from this place, and I have to say, they were absolutely delicious! I'm not usually a big fan of sweets, but these really won me over. Even though I don't know the name of the sweets in Urdu, I still enjoyed them a lot. I would definitely try them again and recommend them to anyone who loves sweets.

Absolutely Beautiful food. Nihaari and halwa poori the best. Not a fan of the chai. But service is great staff is wonderful too. Definitely recommended.

There was a hair in the ras milai, but the owner was nice to offer us another plate, but we didn't want to get another one, due to the hair. I think it was someone's eyelash which fell into it 🤔
Wasn't q big fan of their samosa chaat with massive sized onions. The samosa wasn't soft either, so hard to eat. The Onions though 😂 had to put them all to a size in order to eat
Overall its a nice place, but deserts are a bit too sweet for my liking, but the people are nice and the atmosphere is nice.
Again, Falooda is also nice but too sweet for me.

We ordered halwa puri, chanay and Nihari with naan. Food was served in time despite being busy over Sunday morning.
The food was fresh and delicious, Customer Service was okiesh. Didn't serve onion, pickles, or yoghurt with halwa puri... probably they don't know what is actually Pakistani halwa puri.
Despite these poor points, I still recommend place, probably next time I'll try their haleem.
There are parking areas but Ladypool Rd is a very busy place.

Friendly people and environment.
Freshly done all the food.
Seating arrangements very spacious.
Truck theme decoration make the environment very vibrant.

The lacha parathas are exceptional to say the least. The atmosphere gives a clear Pakistani vibe and the authentic interior reminds you of traditional elements from back home.
The halwa puris are also absolutely great and just like any best of the best from Pakistan.
The food sheikh
Delicious, desi but too oily. Will I go again? Most definitely! The service was good and the food was equal to that. The paratha was not authentic but everything else was spot on! Oh and the katlama is probably one of the best in Birmingham as well as the karak chai!!!

Authentic Pakistani cuisine.
I have tried lamb nihari several times, once or twice the nihari wasn't fresh. Haleem is tasty, and also mutton karahi. I won't recommend chappal kebab, as i have eaten better in Ladypool road. The karak chai was best but the kashmiri chaye isn't up to the mark. Definitely recommended for desi halal nashta.

I enjoyed the food and ambience in the Taste of Pakistan. We took lamb and chicken curry, chicken Haleem, Sindhi Biryani and mango lassi. All of them were amazing. The Tandoori Roti, however, was quite hard. It's my bad that I didn't know that it was made of wheat and that's why it's hard. I wish I had known this earlier.
Looking forward to eat here again in the coming days... specially, the Nashta (breakfast).

Visited birmingham first time and this was the first place i went to. Ordered nihari with kulcha naan and chana paratha. Nihari stole the show! My mum and dad are quite choosy in-terms of food but she loved nihari so much! Channay was average, could be a bit better taste wise. Paratha was too crispy and just the way i like it. Chaye needs to be bit less sweet though, I didnt know they serve it sweet otherwise would’ve asked them to give unsweetened one. Will definitely go again.
