Garazi Gardner (byGarazi)

I have photographed a number of weddings, engagements and portrait sessions at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and it's always a place I want to go back to. The grounds are stunning and if it's winter or raining, there is always a chance to get some photographs in the tropical houses.
There are several banqueting halls so plenty of flexibility for different events and numbers.
Just be aware that they do charge a fee for photoshoots and they have to be booked in advance.
I also enjoy coming with my family on my days off!

It was an astonishing trip to the botanical gardens Birmingham. They have collected varieties of plants from different parts of the world.
There is a playing area for adults like tennis courts etc and kids play area.
The indoor area for plants and outdoor areas was amazing. There is a small pond with fish inside, and patriot outside won't let you bore as if you say hello, hi or bye you will get the same reply in the way you communicate ....
Went to visit the Botanical Gardens near christmas time, it wasn’t too busy thankfully and the staff were very friendly during the whole time we were there.
The food isn’t too pricy and they have a lot of food options to choose from just outside the entrance to the botanical gardens. There is a lot to choose from in the gift shops, books for children, decorations for your house or garden, sweets and many other things you can buy!
Best time to visit is when they’re doing the light show at christmas and also when there are other events on!
Had a lovely day here with friends and our 2 kids (2 & 5). Staff were lovely, gardens are stunning & kids playground area is fab. A great day out for those that live all things botanical or looking for things for the kids. My daughter was obsessed with the indoor pond of huge koi carp I think we went back to it 4 times in our visit!
Lovely place, plenty of activities for young kids. Large play area. Well maintained garden, plenty of flora, my kids loved the butterfly house and aviary. Picnic area is well maintained. There is always some activities going on.
The event was beautiful and received warm welcome. We all had chocolates left on the seats. I gave mine away being vegan but what a lovely touch! The Sekine quartet were so talented and played the best of Hans Zimmer and the stage being raised made views even better. The atmosphere was wonderful and would definitely recommend this venue.
Really impressed by the staff recently at Botanicals. We've been visiting for years but just noticed recently the staff have been so helpful on the main desk as we arrive. The gardens are lovely as ever and this place is a favourite with my kids.
I photographed a wedding at the botanical gardens in 2022, it was a super nice venue and some cool spots for couples photos. my favourite spots where the cactus greenhouse and the large aviary at the back of the gardens.
The botanical garden light show was a mesmerizing experience that transformed the lush greenery into a magical wonderland. The play of lights among the diverse flora created a breathtaking tapestry, enhancing the beauty of each plant. The synchronized illumination, accompanied by subtle music, elevated the ambiance to a serene and enchanting level. It was a captivating journey through nature, where the interplay of light and botanical brilliance left a lasting impression. A must-visit for anyone seeking a harmonious blend of art and nature.
While i been there most of the plants where dry. It seem that the birds in the cages are not fine and could have been with their pair. And there are two separate place with cages. Koi pond in the first area is a center of attraction.

One of Birmingam best attractions. I have a membership which gives me free parking and it’s great. I visit all year round with my son - he loves the play area and large lawn which is great for rolling down on sunny days. It never gets boring and I have been visiting for over thirty years. We have enjoyed so many different events here from fairs to festivals and light trails too. It’s a shame the birds are no longer here to visit but it doesn’t take away from having such a lovely green space in the middle of a city
I think I'll add myself to all the other thousand of amazing people who enjoyed their time here.
You can take 50 million photos and still not be enough of this fabulous natural garden.
I loved the whole experience. It's highly worth the money you pay. The staff all throughout the garden do an amazing job to keep it well maintained.
I noticed a lot of wedding couple here coming for their photoshoots. It's just so natural.
You will do a lot of walking around; so good to say to wear strong footwear. They also have other functions going on throughout the year. This tome was the music festival of the 1920's. The last entry is around 3.30pm.
There's also a cafeteria which do some amazing cakes and tea. Not too expensive too.
To end the tour, they had a souvenir shop which you can buy various small gifts, bags etc or like a small house plants or some fancy stones. Overall, it was a lovely experience and can't complain.
Luminate was amazing!! Lost a star due to being guided to park the car farrrr from the entrance despite spaces being seen available just outside. Probably reserving for latecomers.
Great experience within the heart of the city centre. Great place to sight see, relax at a leisurely pace and enjoy the sights and sounds of the live bands and nature. Something like this would be best to enjoy on a hot summers day as it’s a beautiful place to be. It’s not a big as I expected but it’s also makes a good option to spend with family and friends
Amazing to be back here after 20 years i cant believe i left it so long
Great day looking around, food was reasonably priced, well stocked gift shop and the pantomime was okay for an additional cost.
