BEST GRILLED FOOD IN BIRMINGHAM! I was really impressed with the tawa, which offered a range of biryani, curries and grilled chicken and lamb. Perfect for a family dinner. The atmosphere is also suitable for family and children, which is supported by large seating areas allowing for conversation. Waiters were excellent and prompt with any additional needs. Also allowed us to bring our own cake and cut in the restaurant, additional cutlery, plates, and tissue were provided. Will visit again!

I visit here with my family regularly. Food is always fresh and tasty and presentation on point. Staff always go out their way to give exceptional customer service. My family always choose the Tawa as it has something for everyone, great portion size, value for money and most importantly every piece is delicious! The pomegranate mocktail is my fave. Don't leave without trying their tea - its beautiful! I've also tried their breakfast - went down a treat, and again staff were attentive and gave excellent service! Hajee saab is ever so lovely, I would definitely recommend Chaska and Chaii!
We went to Chaska and chaii today for lunch. We had chicken saag karahi and lamb karahi, the food was delicious we really enjoyed it and kids. so have to rate them on that.
But have got to say the service and wait was absolutely dreadful and the staff were so un-attentive and slow. Had to repeatedly call them and ask them how long the wait would be. we went at 1.30 and our order wasn't taken till around 2.15 and then food arrived just around 3ish that to as i nagged and asked for it to be quick.
Service and wait time is very bad and there is no structure in place. The atmosphere was lovely but it was extremely busy.
Husband wanted Puri and chole but by the time we was served they had stopped serving it as apparently after 1.30 they don't do puri chole.
Nice restaurant and very helping staff.
Plenty of variety of food.
Tawa grill was quite good. Chicken Karachi in Tawa hadn’t enough gravy snd when pointed out staff brought a quite big portion of gravy, we were really pleased.
Orange juice was fresh.
Loves the payas and the naan. Portion were sufficient.
Free parking isn’t readily available but there’s pay and display parking on lady pool road, just walking distance away.
Prices were reasonable too
Another very positive dining experience. We had the desi nashta and we were left very pleased. Well cooked food, quick service and clean environment. Would recommend to everyone.
Easily the best desi food in Birmingham. Visited with family and friends on Sunday.Restaurant was busy so had to wait for the table. Ordered their famous Tawa and it was to die for. Place was clean and tidy and staff was very welcoming and hospitable . Highly recommended
What can I say about this little gem, family visited here last night. Personally I'm a fan of sheesh kabab and lamb chomps. They were cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty. Loved them. Portion size was good, presentation spot on and smelled lovely.
Wife enjoyed her breakfast again was spot on.
Kids really liked there chicken loaded fries and we had to order another portion.
Overall, a must try, well presented restaurant, nice and friendly staff, excellent service and food, place was busy and food came out quickly and efficiently.
I would recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food, reminded me of Pakistan. Haji Saab is amazing as always welcoming and polite. I recommend everyone to come here. I came here for traditional breakfast but will be exploring the rest of the menu too very soon. See you very soon and thanks for today.
This place was soo nice one of the best places iv bin so far went wth my cousins the desi tea was amazing fresh milk fresh pot really enjoyed it .also had chicken wing very tasty had Carrott desert (gajrela) amazing samosa chat great thanked the shef. Waitter service was great loverly smile welcoming we went to the lady pool road branch.
