Pepe's Piri Piri

I absolutely love this Pepe's. I think it's the best Pepe's ever! I've tried so many and nothing compares. Honestly, the food is so delicious, the staff in store are so friendly, always make you smile, the manager seems so cool and down with the kids, everything is just so lively here. They also do desserts, which I have yet to try. I have had a maltesers milkshake and it was so nice and thick, the flavour was defo there. Also, can I mention, the decor is amazing, hats off to whoever designed the place. I've only been to this Pepe's about 3-4 times. I might have to turn into a weekly customer now, I love it!

Well... Nandos as usual had a queue wrapped round the building... I wasn't going to wait two hours to be given a cramped space there so went strutting off to pepes it was a great decision. Friendly staff. Fast service, food great. Wedges were a little overdone for me. Spacious area to sit. Clean too. 15% off with NHS card!!!! I don't think it's given enough credit here. Had a nice waitress who was leaving in a few days. I would defo come again. If I had opted for nandos I wud still be hungry. (4 stars because of the wedges)

Nice restaurant and decent food. In fact tastes better than Nandos. Food Quantity: could improve..at least in extra sides options...as price doesn't match quantity 😏 Waiting Time: okay not so bad Staff: service could definitely improve☹ Price: definitely should match quantity served..some things looks pricy for what you get. Taste: better than Nandos 😍 Definitely could get the crowd in if they focus on improving their customer service and quantity of food.

I came in with a group of lads, man at the front was very well-mannered, tall, beard, Scottish accent I believe, led us to our table. Different menu to a regular take-away Pepes but price was decent. A lot of reviews speaking about “rude staff” but in my opinion, Pepes Star City have the most friendliest staff I’ve met in my whole customer service experience. Always have smiles on their faces. One young Asian girl, I assume Pakistani, first thing that stood out were her Nike Tns! Assume they are comfortable for working in a fast food restaurant so I don’t really blame her. She was extremely friendly, approachable, double checked everything with me and my friends, made us laugh and made us feel welcome. Also one older guy with a beard, I believe has a nickname but it’s just flown off the top of my head, he did tell me! He was very sociable, keeps customers smiling, I think has been working there for a long while now, they need to keep him there, he makes Pepes, Pepes!! I see the staff here work together as a team, which is needed in a fast food restaurant like this. They are not too serious which is a good thing if you want to lure customers in, but at the same time are professional and do their job properly. Have been here before and a young boy with black glasses and braces used to work here, I don’t think he works here anymore as I don’t see him anymore, but he topped all of the staff. His customer service skills were perfect! One lady, blonde hair, short, couldn’t speak English properly, was reacting to what I was saying to her with very sour facial expressions, as she couldn’t understand what I was saying. (All I did was ask for mayo). Only downfall would be they need more staff that speak fluent English, other than that, everything was on point! Thank you for the experience, I will definitely be returning.

Ordered a full chicken with 2 fries for a family of 4 (2 infant children + mum + dad). Cost £14.49 without drinks. Drinks were very expensive so we just went with water. In terms of service I'm happy, we got a nice section and the table was clean. Our order was served within a few mins, definitely not more than 10 mins. Lots of choices in terms of sauces, but I couldn't see any ketchup which would have been good for the little ones as they like fries with ketchup. The food tasted good, I was impressed with the chicken in particular they were not small pieces and they tasted very rich and exactly with the right amount of spice. Toilets were in shop and a place to wash your hands. I can't give 5 stars because of the price of drinks, but other than that I'm happy I went to Pepe's rather than Nando's.
