Excellent variety! Fresh, moist, and flavorful! We haven't been inside as we've always received these as gifts; but they make wonderful gifts! I particularly liked their mint cupcake, whose cake batter was infused with mint in addition to the frosting. Nice detail. There's always something for everyone in a variety 6-pack.

I recently bought Vegan lemon cup cakes from this place. Service was great and more importantly the cupcakes were awesome, everyone loved it. Thanks to Laura for taking special care with my exacting vegan/non-allergenic requirements.

This is a fun place to stop by for cupcakes. Unlike NY these cupcake bakeries are much less common but Cupcake Station is a solid choice.... You aren't settling for a cupcake, you are getting that quality you expect from NY. They have a good rotating monthly menu. They also have coffee.

While shopping in Birmingham I stopped in to grab some cupcakes for a get together at my house tomorrow. The store was cute and they had a wide variety of items. The service was not the best people just did not seem very happy. I have not tried the cupcakes yet I will tomorrow. I will say if they taste as good as they look I will be updating the rating to three or four stars. I personally couldn't give a five due to personalities.

Love the cupcakes here. Easily the best cupcakes in metro Detroit. I'm sure its other CC stations in the area but I havent visited any others. Restaurant is located in a great part of town surrounded by shops. Place needs to be updated inside really bad. The amount of seating inside is fine. I've been there a million times and it's never packed. People take their stuff to go. Never enough CC to choose from and service needs to be a lot better, a lot better! The place is clean & neat. Prices are to high for the size of the cupcakes. They get a 4 star from tatse alone. CC do not taste like something you could buy from Kroger or a $2.50 box mix from to local Rite Aid.

I was here over the past weekend on a weekend trip to the area. The associate offered the couple in front of me a deal to buy 1/2 a dozen cupcakes for $15, when it came to my order she didn't mention the special at all. The cupcakes are over priced at $3 each (this is more expensive than New York City) for their size. I had the Neapolitan and the cake honestly tasted like boxed mix. The person I was with got the brownie and enjoyed it.

Sad at how downhill this place has gone from what it used to be. I came here after a few years of not visiting and it went from friendly service and delicious cupcakes with silky buttercream to unmotivated employees and mediocre product. Cakes were dry and buttercream was overly sweet and gritty with powdered sugar and had an aftertaste of artificial extract. The young lady working at the counter wasn’t the friendliest, didn’t know the products, and came off annoyed when I asked her the difference between two of the unlabeled cupcakes. The flavor options were all very basic too and didn’t seem to have any additions to the menu selection from about 6 years ago when I last went here. You’d think with "foodie" culture exploding in popularity in recent years, and unique gourmet bakeries popping up everywhere, they’d want to amp up on their creativity factor. The only thing that they seemed to change however is the declining quality of everything. Thankfully 1 out the 6 cupcakes we ordered tasted decent, but overall it was a letdown.

I want so badly to love this place, but every time I go, I’m reminded of how mediocre the product is. Add onto this that the restaurant looks old and dirty yet smells like cleaning chemicals, and I’ll take a pass. (I don’t know if they bake the products there, or not, but it has never once smelled like fresh baking, and the cupcakes seem to be stored cold, which makes them taste stale.) The only time we go now is when the kids beg. But here’s the thing: even they never finish their cupcakes because “they just aren’t that good.”
