Damascena Coffee House - Jewellery Quarter - Birmingham - Photo album

As many others have attested too, Damascena Coffee House is really a beautiful establishment. The coffee here is authentic and exceptional. The selection of food is vast and good, however, we felt it was a lot pricier than what it was worth. We were also disappointed with the baklava. Regardless,
We visited Damascena last week. We absolutely loved it! The flavours in their dishes were incredibly authentic, bringing the taste of the Middle East to every bite. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and their coffee was exceptional too. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Middle Eastern
Been here a few times and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. They also have spaces with plugs where you can come and work. I’d like to start off by saying I’m not a big fan of foods like falafel and hummus etc but I actually really enjoy and like the falafels here. It can be confusing looking a
Had the Juz Muz (eggs and tomatoes brunch) and Turkish coffee. Omg. This was divine. So so nice. Service with a smile too, and a great menu that was more a culinary brochure and really well marked up for allergies, food intolerances etc - I’m gluten free and dairy free and the menu was so easy. Lots
I ordered the mixed meze to share - Avocado hummus, fuul medames, fatuush, falafels and flatbread. Each of the dishes were well balanced and very tasty. The staff were attentive and the fresh juice options were incredibly refreshing on such a hot day, Thank you!
Food was really delicious and decent size portions for the price. Also staff were very friendly. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that food took quite a long time to arrive, fortunately we weren’t in a hurry 😝
Only called in for a cup of tea and some soup. Service was great and the soups to die for. Will be back next time we are in the neighbourhood
Very friendly staff and a chilled place to grab a bite to eat. Food was top quality and price is fair. I particularly like the fact that every Damascena we’ve been to so far has a slightly different menu so always something new to discover.
Damascena in the Jewellery Quarter has plenty of seating inside as well as some tables outside. The interior is their signature style, very nice. The food is absolutely delicious, there is plenty of choice on the menu. Plenty of drinks choice as well. Their freshly squeezed orange juice with rose wa
Best falafel I’ve ever eaten anywhere. And it’s gluten free. Yummy spiced tea and the waitress is so lovely.
Great variety of desserts, including cheesecake, velvet cake and Turkish delight with vegan options! The staff was polite and attentive! The coffee was strong and the prices were reasonable! The decor could be improved and be more traditional like the sister cafe that is located close to the cathedr
Very nice decor. Nice selection of foods on menu and drinks menu. Love the layout of the place. And the cafe was clean. Seats comfortable. We went here on a busy lunch time on a Tuesday afternoon. It’s a popular location and people inside seemed to be enjoying themselves. Adults and children. Pri
Great food, lots of vegetarian and vegan options. All fresh and tasty
I had an exceptional dining experience at Damascena! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service provided by Mayyar and Kareem was outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and made our visit truly memorable. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting. Highly recommend!
Very polite, positive and smiley staff, clean restaurant and bathroom. Food was very tasty with beautiful presentation. One of the best falafel I've eaten, kibbeh makliya taste was too strong for me but everything else was amazing. Dip sauce also very tasty especially the avocado hummus. Pistachio
Come here time after time and this place never disappoints. Food is always excellent, Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Brilliant atmosphere and always clean and tidy. This has to be one of the best Middle Eastern eateries in the Birmingham area.
Easily one of the most tasty middle eastern meals I have ever had - combined with attentive and friendly staff and a very reasonably price. Highly recommended!
Really like this coffee shop. The food is great albeit a little slow sometimes but that because they get quite busy. But delicious nonetheless. The coffee is also really good and made consistently well. The service from Anano was impeccable. Warm and inviting.
