Verbena - Birmingham - Photo album

We enjoyed a lovely meal here last weekend before a day at the Test match. From the very friendly welcome to the excellent small plates food, everything was spot on. Couldn't fault it and very good value for money for the level of expertise on show. Wouldn't hesitate eat here again, if only we lived
We had a wonderful dinner here last night. My husband & I are both vegan, which we noted down when booking. Upon our arrival our menu had been starred to show which dishes could be made vegan - this made the ordering process very easy! Everything was so delicious! There’s such a cosy, intimate feel
Next level Sunday roast I’ve helped make Sunday roasts since I was knee high to my father. I know, from my family’s efforts, what a good Sunday roast should be. So I thought. I sat in the comfortable, bright setting of Verbena to be entertained by a taste sensation. I ordered the pork belly with ap
Beautiful little restaurant that is working hard to make its mark. Some dishes hit and miss. Pasta dishes very under seasoned. Beef ribs fantastic. Cheese and desserts very good. Worth a visit.
Incredible Sunday roast! Everything beautifully cooked and sides with such fresh ingredients. A curry side is even included and goes perfectly with absolutely everything. The roast potatoes are the best I've had anywhere. For kids you can order a mini plate of roast. Excellent beverage options alo
I always love a visit to Verbena. It's a great place for a relaxed weekday lunch, and their evening, Modern British menu changes with the seasons and incorporates lots of local ingredients. The whole team are really passionate about what they do and we're so lucky to have such a gem of a restaurant
Delightful evening, had a few recommendations to visit so pleased to see it lived up to its billing. Excellent service, we were made to feel very welcome. Small menu but delivered on every course and such good value at £30 for 3 x courses. Hake and beef cheeks for mains, but all courses were good.
I decided to treat myself to a visit to Verbena for my birthday lunch. The restaurant may be small but the food is epic and the staff are brilliant! Big thank you to Chloe and the team, that was a meal to remember!
The food is so delicious and fresh - we’ve been a couple of times and always love the variety in the menu. Thank you for being part of lovely Stirchley x
A fantastic dinner was had here a few weeks ago. Each plate was absolutely delicious, especially the fish pâté and the vanilla and apple mousse (hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever tried!) We are lucky to have Verbena in the local area, they’re doing an amazing job and I look forward to go
Lovely cafe, fabulous cake, really nice staff! Relaxing atmosphere, I definitely recommend going!
Every meal I have ever had here has always been perfection. It gives serious competition to some of Birmingham's big name fine dining restaurants while being beautifully laid back and down to earth
We had Sunday lunch with our family here. Cannot rave about it enough! Between the 7 of us, we had all three roast options, beef, pork and vegetarian and every single component was faultless. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff and warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to return and feel very lucky to
Thank you so much for a lovely meal. Attentive service, perfect portion size, every course lived up to expectations. Will definitely return and highly recommend. Great to have this on our doorstep.
Gorgeous food. Had small plates of everything (smoked mozzarella, roasted cauliflower, rare beef, trout quiche, scotch eggs, honey bread- have the bread, it's amazing) to share with my partner. And a lovely redcurrant hazelnut frangipane for dessert. Great value lunch if you like fancy food but don'
Wow. What an amazing meal at a lovely, welcoming, cosy restaurant. Had three courses here tonight (taleggio and chicory salad, cod for mains and a beautiful apple and caramel sponge pudding). All were absolutely stunning and so tasty, so much thought had gone into each dish. I'd particularly recomm
I travelled up to visit especially as we'd heard good things about verbena. Was not disappointed. Got me from the start with the beautiful bread rolls and the butter with bee pollen A..mazing! Starter was beetroot, deliciously earthy. Main mushroom ragout, and i can honestly tell you I've not eaten
Verbena is always lovely. Cute and well designed dining room serving up very well thought out and beautifully presented extremely tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. I absolutely love the Sunday roasts with all the great sides. One of the best spots for Sunday lunch in Birmingham.
Food was delightful and dishes had interesting flavours tied together. We definitely enjoyed our meal. We were a bit surprised how long our food took to come (about 45 minutes for the bread to even come out, one of the buns wasnt heated up through to the inside) considering it was a weekend day and
