The location and views are superb alone.
The staff were extremely professional and attentive. We had the tasting menu complete with the wine flight. The food was absolutely outstanding. The lamb course was mind blowing, the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable concerning which wine with which course.
Overall, it is an experience we will never forget. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Such a lovely experience at Orelle.
The cocktails were amazing, the service 1st class and the food was delicious!
What more could you ask? Oh yes, the views were spectacular 💜
Orelle is an exceptional fine dining establishment that exudes Michelin-star quality in every aspect. From the moment you enter, the ambiance and service set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The culinary artistry on display, combined with an impressive wine selection and attentive staff, make Orelle a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience. It's a true gem in the world of fine dining.
Amazing views, attentive service, and reasonably priced (for a tasting menu). The food was beautifully presented and much of it very very tasty. The only slight disappointment was that the chef is clearly a big fan of a particular type of lime and several courses had that flavour running through them, and that the staff (who were all lovely) were perhaps too attentive as we were out for our anniversary meal but there was someone at the table every couple of minutes. But those are very minor complaints from an overall excellent experience.
Our first time at orelle and certainly not the last.
From the minute you walk through the door you feel like you are getting something special,we were greeted at the door by a friendly young lady who took our reservation details and pointed us towards the lifts to take us up to the 24th floor.
From the second those lift doors opened we were wowed, the views are breath taking, feels a little surreal being above Birmingham when you've lived here all your life and you're trying to figure out in which direction you live.
Anyway enough bleating...
This place is beautiful, we loved everything about orelle, the food was a step above 5* I can't recommend it enough,we had the Sunday roasts(see pics)with the crab and terrine starters,a staff member did say to us not many people know that they do Sunday roasts, so I'm plugging them here, they are definitely worth trying, and you won't be disappointed.
Orelle staff are attentive, happy to have a chat and happy to recommend drinks etc.
All in all we can't wait to visit again and try the tasting menu.
What a fabulous restaurant. We came with friends and booked for a table of 4, we were very lucky to be placed in the window! The views were incredible, the service unbeatable and the food was fantastic. Good advice on the extensive wine list, it really was a special evening. Would 100% recommend, and while premium prices, it was worth it.
Amazing venue, perfect for all occasions. You will be overwhelmed by the atmosphere, amazing views of Birmingham but the attentiveness of the staff.
You are the centre of this fantastic culinary experience.
Enjoy and appreciate all that is fine dining.
We went there for our wedding anniversary dinner. The food & wine were very good. The dessert was a little less impressive than the food. The only thing surprises me is the double Espresso which my husband ordered. It came in a big white normal coffee cup. For up market restaurant, I believe it should be served in a proper Espresso cup and accompanied with a small biscuit or chocolate.
I had the most lovely experience at Orelle with a large group of friends. The private dining room and service was superb. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so nice we did our utmost to try them all.
And the views are amazing.
Would definitely visit again.
Came here on Friday afternoon for lunch on the 24th Floor. Best view of Birmingham if you ask me.
The restaurant is nice and spacious, peaceful with a mellow atmosphere.
The food is amazing. We literally savoured every bite. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This has to be my favourite restaurant in Birmingham so far. A class act all the way. A Michellin star is surely on its way.
We booked to go for dinner. The view is beautiful and the decor is amazing We got a nice table by the window. The food was really good.
The service was a bit slow, our mains took about an hour to come from the time we placed the order.
Overall it is a lovely restraint.
Lovely looking place ..the views of the city are stunning! They have a very creative cocktail menu and both the drinks we tried were very nice. We didn't try the food..when I do,will update the review.
We've just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable 3 course Sunday lunch. The views are epic and the menu was perfect. We enjoyed pre lunch cocktails, then crab and smoked salmon starter (the latter was exceptional). For mains we shared roast chicken (served for two people, not available for one) with all the vegetables and trimmings including a Yorkshire pudding! We managed to wade through all the vegetables and the standout flavours were the goose fat roast potatoes which were delicious, the creamy chicken sauce with the cabbage and braised chicken leg, the tenderstem broccoli dressed in sesame oil. The gravy was pretty good but far too thin. It needed more reduction for a stronger depth of flavour and so it would coat the food. The roast chicken includes breast, thigh and wing. Everything was well seasoned. For dessert we had noisette and zing tang. The latter was the star, really tasty and refreshing. The noisette was a little bland. We enjoyed after dinner cocktails, la Belle Helene and Salted Caramel. We had a glass of white rioja with lunch and our bill, incl service was £200. The tableware, setting, staff were all fantastic. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and really accommodating. Thank you Susi for looking after us so well. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return! Located on 24th floor and restrooms (unisex) on 23rd floor. Lifts are right at the back of the café on the ground floor.
Great atmosphere, the staff was really nice and friendly. Food was amazing, and the views are really nice. Looking forward to visit again!
Fantastic food and service! Really impressive views of Birmingham too! Fantastic a la carte and tasting menus. Professional service.
Stunning setting, beautiful views and very attentive staff. Had to remind staff of our glass of coke that was ordered and didn't arrive. Nothing special done for my birthday meal eg. The chocolate message that you see all over social media. The Sunday lunch was okay. I've had the same quality Sunday lunch for a lot less money at other establishments. Overall it was a nice birthday meal out, but wouldn't go for Sunday lunch there again.
