The food here is always super fresh and unbelievably tasty! And let me tell you, the atmosphere is just amazing. It's so cozy and inviting, you'll feel right at home. As for the service, it's absolutely top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and they'll go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
I only came for coffee early morning, but was welcomed with warm Middle Eastern music (Ragheb Alama) and was served by a lovely woman called Valerie (turned out she is the manager). Service was good and very welcoming. The coffee was really good (oat hazelnut latte). I ended up ordering "BAKED EGG MANAKISH" which was lovely and an immunity booster (freshly made juice). I will definitely return for breakfast again. Thank you for the warm service.
Love that whenever you go to any of the Damascena branches it's not simply eating out, but a short vacation in Damascus.

Edgbaston is the recent addition to this chain. Wonderful atmosphere and loads of parking. Had a mixed mezza with saffron tea. The falafels were crunchy and moist on the inside. Lovely filling lunch. Bought a salted caramel cheesecake to take away - just yummy

The ambiance is nice and the food is tasty.
Last time we had a Sunrise Shake, which was awesome.
Baba Ghanuuj (dips), Batata Hara (Meze dish), Lentil Soup are our all time favourites 😁
Don't expect Karak Milky Tea to be the same as Indian Karak Chai.
Onsite parking for 3 hours once you validate your car reg in the restaurant.

A pretty and open interior, lots of sun and walking space as apposed to other Damascena locations I've seen to. Friendly staff and hot food. Music was a little loud, but I prefer no music when eating in a restaurant.
I always get the baba ganoush and the San Sebastian cheesecake. the cheesecake was sat in the fridge too long bit still tasty.
The service was a little slow and they could do with 1 or 2 other staff members.
Best coffee shop in UK , staff very friendly Lara was absolutely amazing, outstanding customer service. Food soooo fresh and delicious i could eat and have my coffee here everyday, highly recommend this place.

This is a recently opened Damascena. The location is really good as it's near bus stops, the tram and also within walking distance of the city centre. The place is absolutely beautiful with brand new modern interior but still has the signature Damascena design. The menu has a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, breakfast and platters. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious. The choc-o-lait was so nice as well. Definitely recommend for a relaxed lunch or just for some coffee and a snack.

We often order from Damascena but I must say dinning in is another experience. The way they designed the place transport you somewhere else.

Love Temple Row Branch so thought we would give Edgebaston a try. Disappointed. Although some decor such as lamps amazing. It doesn’t have the same cosy feel. Found it cold and univiting. Staff were friendly. Loved cinnamon tea, omelettes and salad but the rest of our food was rather tasteless. Bread was also hard and stale so didn’t eat it.
Everything was perfect - we really loved our breakfast here. The food was exquisite - we especially recommend the breakfast for two and the Samovar tea.
Valerie was a lovely and welcoming host, providing humour and excellent service. We will be back! :)
The food here is very good and the service is excellent but the pistachio cheesecake is out of this world. It might just be the best cheesecake I've ever had. Definitely recommend.

Excellent selection of baclava too, which you can take away in gift boxes.
Amazing food !! Cant wait to come back again - our waitress Lara was brilliant at making us feel so welcomed and gave exceptional, quick, service , explaining any dishes we were curious to eat and giving amazing recommendations. 10/10!!!
