Awesome environment, real local pub! Good host and staff
There are live bands every Saturday night with no admission fee. Drinks are reasonable, staff are very friendly, what more to ask for on a local night out.
Have just been here for the Sunday carvery, lovely atmosphere staff very polite friendly and welcoming everything on the carvery was fresh home made absolutely delicious highly recommended 5 *****will definitely come again

At a glance you might think its not a very good place for lunch but one Sunday all the power was of so we went there for Sunday lunch it was amazing all food was fresh and no frozen food unlike other places it was the best carvery av had and the price was fantastic only £8.50 for 2 courses
April 28th 2017, we held our dads funeral refreshment at the grand, this were our dad had his 1st and last pint over the year, val & derrick were perfect hosts for the day & paul & val made a wounderful buffet to suit what we wanted also what our dad would of enjoyed. Would recomend to anyone, thank you all of you, many times over Marion & Sarah. X
