Greggs

I always like Greggs. It's great value for money; even better still if you have the app (my thoughts below). This store is staffed by friendly people. They also provide a friendly service and you are always greeted with a smile. Sometimes it's hard to get a table so often find takeaway is my only option. That said Greggs tend to keep rennovating their stores with no seats at all; so it looks like they are moving towards being takeaway only; also reflected in the decision to no longer use anything but paper cups and bags. The app.. yes I think the app sweetens the deal even more however you would have to buy at least nine coffees or pies to get a freebie. Regular visitor to this store.

I visited twice in two days for a Sausage Bean and Cheese Melt, piping hot and quickly served as you expect from the chain. Though I do consider that it is becoming expensive compared to what it offered thirty years ago, in it's defense the business has evolved and has a much wider selection on offer to the customer. I will no doubt call in again at some point.

One of the largest Greggs stores I regularly use and its good, staff are friendly and polite. Usually quite a large and good variety of food and drinks on offer with the addition of the small seating area for a quick coffee. Probably one of the reasons the Newgate centre is still open is because of this store and Wilko.
