Quality pub. Wide selection of beers and the Guinness was outstanding! Huge supporters of live music for many years so deserve support for that alone. Friendly locals and good pricing.
Never got to try the food but the double Maxim was spot on friendly staff and dog friendly!

Fantastic little pub, fairly cheap, has a pool table,plenty of TV screens and a couple of games machines.
Saturday night in here was a good laugh. Not many places still do karaoke. Has its own smoking area so your not stood out in the street. Fairly priced drinks

Very nice pub. Had a few hand pull ales on offer which was good. Big fan of Road Crew Ale, and also had your standard fosters and smiths. Prices are reasonable and the staff and landlord are very friendly and welcoming.
Also offers live music on weekends and has sport on TV. Decent pool table too.
We visited this pub for the first time in the afternoon. It's a very friendly pub with great atmosphere and very pleasant background music, chosen by the bar assistant. All Covid measures are in place. Enjoyed a couple of pints and nibbles. Will return soon.
This was my first trip to Bishop Auckland and I think this is the best pub there. Zara the landlady was so welcoming and has total respect from her clientele. Please visit, you won't be disappointed.
