The Altisidora is set in a very English 'chocolate box' style village and has just recently been refurbished. The interior is smart and appealing, whilst still remaining in keeping with the age of the building. Their brand new fresh food menu is not extensive but it is all the better for that. I would rather have less choice and wonderful food served with a smile, which is exactly what you get at the Altisidora.Thoroughly recommend either for Sunday lunch or for a great eat out during the week. Well done to all the staff and hosts Andrew and Tracey Noon ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Following a major refurb, the Altisidora is now back where it should be as a destination pub. Fabulous renovations and now worth a visit. Food choices are good, not fancy, but just good pub food. Well worth a higher rating now

Family of 4 (with 2 under 4’s), went for Christmas Day lunch and couldn’t fault it! Absolutely perfect, service remarkable given it looked to be full, very attentive staff and food was out quickly which is great with little ones. Staff more than happy to please, and quick to pick up on when we’d finished a course and the kids were getting restless. Lovely, hot, tasty Christmas dinners with all the trimmings, large portions and very reasonable for the price. Would highly recommend and definitely do it again next year! Thank you for a lovely Christmas dinner

I called in with my partner lesley after being shopping in hull and Beverley I had been a few years ago and heard it still had its good reputation Greeted as soon as we walked through the door pub was busy and served as quick as they could but was early tea time so they did well with running around and being helpful to everyone in there Staff very helpful I would recommend to anyone to call in The food was spot on and plenty on the plate

My family and I were lucky enough to be invited to the vip opening last Sunday. We were definitely bowled over. A beautiful pub decorated so tastefully and set in a picturesque village makes this one of the best places we've ever been. The roast dinner was outstanding and the service wonderful. Thank you for having us. It was a real treat after a hard week of work.

Always polite. Food is nice. Atmosphere is great. Great for a pint after a country walk. Very busy term time at lunch and I hate to say it but 12 quid for two pints ......this isn't London 🤣

Went here for a meal with my family and absolutely loved it. The manager Peter made us feel so welcome and sapphire was soo nice. The atmosphere was out of this world and so was the food. Will definitely be back!!

We arrived 30 minutes earlier than our booking but were able to go straight to our table in the Bay window overlooking the garden. Lovely high back comfy seats. Staff very polite and efficient. Very well turned out. It was not too busy for Easter Sunday.. We both had the roast (one meat and one vegetarian). There was so much food on the main plate that we wish we had not ordered the side of colliflower cheese. Food was delicious and good value for money. The 3 course option was tempting, but having seen the size of the main we got, I'm glad we didn't go for the 3 course option! Will definitely be back.

Lovely food in a lovely pub. I had the mixed grill and it was absolutely fantastic, cooked to perfection. The missus had a lasagne and she said it was very tasty, she especially liked the ciabatta that came with it. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

The wife had a hunters chicken. I had a plain burger with chips. We both had dessert. All the food was amazing and came out fast and was really hot. It was amazing from start to finish and will definitely be returning. Hats of to your waiting staff and tour chefs.
