Great 2 day stay, staff were beyond helpful, nothing was too much, and they had a great sense of humour. Food in the pub was excellent and the breakfast was superb, I would recommend it for a base to explore the area.
A basic room which was clean and tidy. Basic facilities were provided. Staff were friendly and breakfast was pretty good. It can get a bit noisy in the evening as it's a popular place.

We stayed on Easter Sunday and bank holiday Monday. Amazing price for bed and breakfast. Very large comfortable, clean room. Great hosts. Good fresh food. Hosts were very accommodating. Great location for the horse races. Lots to see out and about. We definitely would book again
Went for the Sunday carvery with my parents and was not disappointed. Good selection of meats, cooked really well and a good variety of veggies. Price of meal was great too. Staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good time.

Nicely placed away from town with really friendly accommodating staff. My only real gripe being the rooms are a bit small but otherwise nice place. Food really good but you may struggle for a phone signal.

Stayed at the Chequers Inn overnight, we liked the fact that the rooms were on the back of the building with ease of access externally, we stayed in room number 2 which was very nice and of a decent size, the bathroom was of a decent size also and nicely finished other than the toilet seemed to rock
Beautiful little glamping pod and an amazing location to explore from. Food at the chequers inn was delightful and all the staff are warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a weekend with these brilliant people.
