Lovely cafe off the beaten track! Great food and drink. The staff and owner were lovely and at the top of their game. They managed to fit us in even when busy and near closing time. Will definitely visit again if we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate sandwiches..local butchers ham with salad , excellent , and a Welsh Rarebit. Tea for two and a rhubarb canned beverage. The sandwiches at £4 plus each were good value but I felt the Rarebit was a bit steep at £7

Tiny, but don't be put off by the "there's more seating upstairs" which usually means some soulless room with just boxes of unopened stock for company. It's a cosy, crooked space with art on the walls. Extensive choice of food and drink considering its size, cakes are excellent. Friendly.

Small but quaint café, had some quirky decor. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable on what cakes were on offer. I had the carrot cake which was fantastic.
