Stayed with extended family for a week. Lovely quiet location, great for walks. Great facilities - games room was well used, as was hot tub and sauna, and TV room. Clean and comfortable bedrooms. All round great stay, would return again and definitely recommend

Wonderful location for a large famy get together. The Boars head pub and attached 'curly tail' accommodations are spotlessly clean and welcoming. The pub has a great feel to it with plenty of areas to sit together or find a quiet spot if wanted. Recommend whole heartedly, Bishops Castle is a sleepy

Visit with my son for a short walking holiday. Didn't stay here but ate 2 nights in a row. The welcome from Stuart was very friendly - just like a traditional Landlord who really made you feel at home. Food was superb - & my son is VERY demanding. He can't wait to go back.
Booked a table for our son's 18th birthday and can't recommend this place enough. Everyone was so very helpful, blowing up balloons and providing a freshly baked that morning lemon cake with candles (which tasted wonderful!) They helped make his birthday that little bit extra special! Excellent plac
We were on the Cask-Marque Ale Trail. Good local ales served here, clear and in good condition, well deserving the accreditation.

Great holiday spot for a large gathering. We went for a stag but would be good for any event really.
The Boar's Head Inn is easy to find its in Church Street, on offer is a good selection of drinks and an impressive selection of food which can be enjoyed in a pleasant atmosphere. Pop in an enjoy yourself.
Local pub with friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Also had food there - mine was just ok but the others loved theirs

Went here on date night with my girlfriend and their food is outstanding. Very tasty food and generous portions. Highly recommended!!!
