Can’t remember a more unpleasant meal. Waited an hour for our meal, party of about 20 people who came in over 20 minutes after us were served before us. No apologies for the dreadful service. Onion Bhaji was more like a chocolate cookie. Took 3 visits get all of my meal. Can’t even give it 1 star. Never going back there.
We have been going to Dipali on almost a weekly basis for about 15 years.....wouldn't consider going anywhere else! Food is consistantly good and the staff are excellent.
I was staying in Blaby on business and this was recommended by a work colleague I must say these guys go that extra mile for you to enjoy there Own Food and Culture food was great beer very good and a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you Chin chin Si.

Went last night for our Mum's 70th birthday. Table set up beautifully with the decorations I had left with the staff earlier in the day. Staff friendly and attentive, food delicious and all came out at the same time. Very, very nice evening.

I feel I should be even here: a Friday evening visit didn't start well - parking was an issue and when we finally got into an impossibly empty restaurant (at 9:50pm), the elderly gentleman who received us insisted on placing us (my wife and I) at the most undesirable set of seats in the house!
OK, so moaning out of the way, now on to the food: extraordinarily brilliant. I had the Duck chilli starter followed by a mixed tandoori and pillau rice was washed down with a pint of Cobra beer. My wife had the chicken pakora then lamb biriyani and a glass of red wine. The service was great (not the elderly gentleman) and the bill for two came to shy of £60: an excellent end to an excellent evening!😀
Ps - the men's toilets are brilliantly decorated fresh and very well kept! Can't speak for the Ladies though.
Wow!! Ordered my first takeaway after moving to Blaby. Excellent flavours, & generous portions. I don't have takeaways often but will definitely use Dipali again . I absolutely advise you to try them

Food was excellent best I have had in a long time, although the managers accent was barely understandable apart from that an enjoyable meal especially when the manager arrived with the landline phone to take the card payment.
Excellent service and fantastic food. Staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Food is full of flavour and there are foods to suit all palates.
Flavours burst on your tongue but there is no nasty aftertaste, we have been left feeling pleasantly full but not bloated as has happened with some Indian meals elsewhere.
Thus restaurant is a hidden jewel but once found you will keep returning.

Excellent. This is my favourite restaurant by far. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food 🍲 is stunning, I have been many many times and have never once been disappointed in any way. Give it a try, you will not regret it.
Came to our rescue at 1030pm when the city centre restaurants we were close to had all stopped serving. Great to know a local venue serves til late. Very tasty and spicy food. I wasn't a huge fan of the naan which lacked a bit of fluffiness otherwise I would have gone for 5 stars. Friendly staff too
Really if to be enjoyed with Asian food , especially Indian, it’s the best place. After trying from everywhere I got this best place. Try it and enjoy 😊

True story, i don't get on well with spicy food and I once ordered the wrong meal from dipali. It was so nice but raging hot I was shedding more tears than when (spoiler alert) bouncer died in Neighbours and I spent at least an hour on the toilet afterwards rebalancing my colon but it was totally worth it and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. Lovely staff too.

One of the best indian restaurants in Leicester. Great Value for money, great service, friendly atmosphere. I have been several times and i would reccomend it to anyone. I cannot fault it in anyway (although it used to be quite smoky but since the smoking ban this is not a problem).
