Very welcoming bar staff good atmosphere and excellent hand pumped beer.
We came as a part of 8 on Sunday 6th December and were warmly welcomed by the manager. The pub was trimmed up really nice and was really festive. The service was excellent the young waitress was so friendly and helpful really looked after us. The food was delicious and very tasty we all enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant the food excellent and very good value for money. We were made very welcome and the manager was lovely and very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back we had a great time
Popped in for a bite to eat on Friday evening. Nice home cooked food and a nice pint. Friendly staff, good service and good value for money
Very nice pub & restaurant set in a nice little village! I had the cheese and onion pie. They have a few nice beers on draught too.
Very busy when I went in party going on, but staff behind the bar were still very polite and friendly no stress it was a pleasure to be see how professionally they handled it. This business has now changed hands at the moment they are not doing food, but are about to start about the 21st of October so very soon, when that happens I will be updating this post
Friendly & approachable staff. Welcoming atmosphere. Food was really tasty. Much better with the new owner, than our previous visit at the beginning of the year. Will definitely return.

Welcoming place to eat and super friendly staff. The food was fantastic with a variety of choices. Will definitely return and recommend to friends. Our 9 year old also ate for free. Thank you for your wonderful service.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, as one of our party had allergies. Food was amazing and a lot of it. The landlord and landlady Ronnie, totally lovely and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend to all.
A lovely pub with great service. We came before the vegan menu was up and running, so they made us a curry special on the spot. All the food was fantastic, we are coming back soon for the new menu.
I stayed on a Wednesday in October . I arrived to very polite welcome who showed me to the room . Room was clean and sizeable . I made my way to dinner and the restaurant /bar was busy with locals eating which gave a great atmosphere . Food was tasty and large portions and the service was above average. Breakfast was served with a smile and a great breakfast . I will be staying again for sure !
