Old world pub lots of wood! Good beer that iv not heard of close to the theaters
Lovely pub inside had a drink couldn't have food due to refurbished kitchen being carried out which is understandable so will be back to try the food 👍 great friendly staff recommend going here fab pub 🍻
The staff are great, the beer is good, the furnishings are nice, but it lacked some atmosphere. I have only visited it in the evening and have no idea if there is any lunchtime menu. [Edit Aug 2019] Been twice this Bank Holiday weekend and it feels much improved (tonight The Rob Martin Band are belting out the classics with fabulous gusto) and I recommend the Thwaites Gold.
Great pub, best one locally. They have just started doing food which is pretty cheap too. Pool table and usually a good atmosphere, always get a seat
Our local. We love that it’s dog friendly so we often take ours with us. Nice staff and good selection of gin.
Well managed very pleasant bar staff,very friendly even those who went working made you feel welcum,and dog friendly.definitely going again.
