Absolutely excellent in every way. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Came here as I have coeliac disease and the batter was so light and crispy and the best ever gluten free fish and chips. The whole family said it was the best chippy and would highly recommend this chip shop

Found this hidden gem and was very impressed! My hubby, daughter and I ate in and my gluten free fish and chips were served first. Very friendly staff too. It was lovely one of the best gluten free fish I've ever had! Will definitely return.

Amazing! I thought I'd had the best fish n chips in Blackpool. Well I think I have now! Amazing place, family run I think and all the team behind the counter. Lovely friendly atmosphere and the food was outstanding. Great value for money too. Daughters tooth fell out a few days earlier and the tooth Fairy brings us, not money, not even a bank transfer, but fish n chips. We always do our homework on restaurants and wasn't disappointed in this. We will be back.

Best chippy in Blackpool by a country mile. Prices are reasonable, food is so fresh, and if you are Gluten Free, they have tonnes of options (even the vinegar!). We come from Bolton just for this place as an occasional treat. Would highly recommend.

A classic fish and chip experience with some of the most attentive and accommodating staff ever. Super friendly staff, super tasty food. If you're in Blackpool and not eating your fish and chips here? You're doing it wrong.

The place is clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and friendly. The large fish and chips are a bit pricey. The chips are good quality, but the quantity is not much for a large portion.

Saw some glowing online reviews of this establishment. Had been named as one of the best fish and chips shops in Lancashire so decided to give it a visit. Managed to find a space right outside on the road. Please note many of the streets around here are resident permit parking only. Seriously doubt you would get a space like we did in the summer months. However, there are a number of pay and display car parks close by for when it’s busy. We were there just after noon on a very wet November day and Blackpool looked very quiet. There is a ramp up into the shop providing wheel chair access. Place was a lot bigger inside than it initially looked with a number of tables and I would reckon seating inside for at least 30 or more people. That’s just an estimate, I didn’t actually count the number of chairs. Plus seating outside for the warmer months. You made your choice, took your table number to the counter and placed your order. Not the most extensive menu. Standard fare for a traditional fish and chip shop. Initially a little surprised to see no desserts on the dine in menu. We went with the large fish and chips, small peas and curry sauce and a medium fish and chips, bread and butter, one coffee and a bottle of water. Didn’t take long before our order was cooked and brought to our table. It was piping hot. Have to say I thought the chips were excellent. Proper full chips, freshly cooked with very few bits. Fish was good. The large was a big portion. I liked the peas but the curry sauce wasn’t for me. Wasn’t keen on it but that’s just my personal preference. Bread and butter also good and fresh and didn’t feel or taste like it had been sat around for hours waiting to be served up. Salt, pepper and vinegar in proper containers on each table with tomato and brown sauce as well. Not the fiddly little individual packets that some places unfortunately insist on using these days. Based on taste and size of portions felt it was reasonable value for money. And probably one reason why they have no dessert menu as we would not have had room for any more. The place looked very clean and tidy. The staff working behind the counter also looked smart in clean white tunics. My brother used the toilet. They had 2. One appeared to be disabled friendly and a sign posted to say it had changing facilities for babies. He said the one he used was also very clean. The food was good but not anything we have not enjoyed before. The service wasn’t the friendliest. My brother who took our order to the till felt the guy who took it was a little abrupt but then again it’s not a five star restaurant is it. So although there was nothing wrong with our meal maybe we were expecting a little bit more having seen the online reviews. Was worth checking out but due to distance from where we live, it’s over an hours drive, it’s unlikely we will be rushing back.

Great fish and chips and friendly service. Best fish I've had in ages and reasonably priced. We ate in and despite being busy the food didn't take long. Convenient location a few streets back from the south pier. Perfect before heading onto the illuminations tram.
