Always had a lovely meal in the Paramount. Staff are really friendly and food is always delicious. I would recommend you to anyone looking for good quality food.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had, everything cooked fresh with amazing service.
So nice to be back in my favourite restaurant.Everything was perfectly cooked and presented, thank you Sue and Alan and staff. I had my favourite Duck in Cointreau sauce with Fried Rice and it could not have been better. Can't wait until next time.
I visited the Paramount Chinese Restaurant on Thursday 16th February 2023 with my lovely wife and sister for the first time.
There was a side street 70 steps aways with free parking.
The restaurant was nice and cosy and staff were friendly and polite.

Always a great personal service, food excellent cannot fault this place, never had a bad experience in 35 years. Give it a try you will not be so disappointed.. granted a bit dated but you need to see past that.

Sue is always lovely & attentive. Service is always spot on & nothing is too much trouble.
Now the food... oh my god. Soo many flavours. My partner always says it's the best beef curry he's ever tasted. (He tells me everytime)

We had a takeaway from the Paramount recently and in all honesty it was spot on.
The Duck in plum sauce was sublime ! even the fried rice is worth a mention ! You will not get a better Chinese takeaway anywhere else.

Not been to the paramount for some time , my girlfriend and I booked and enjoyed our meal.Sue and staff where great hosts making us feel very welcome.Starters and main course presented and tasred great . Good portions .

Day trip to blackpool. Randomly stumbled on this restaurant. Owner was apologetic as the chef had injured knee which was slowing up time for food. The food was amazing, full of flavour, my kids hadn't ever tasted chinese this good and were still talking about it a week later. To top it all we didn't
Enjoyed a very good meal here some months ago and have been meaning to return and do a review. The Cantonese sizzling fillet steak was honestly the best I have tasted, not too sweet as many restaurants do, just right. Decor is a little tired but this didnt bother us
