Great afternoon had. The place was full of holiday makers. Good choice of beers and the DJ Joe was brilliant. Didn’t stop laughing all day. Highly recommend!

Joe Curran is so funny. Many people leaving reviews unhappy about his jokes, it is called the Marmite show and pretty sure you weren't made to stay in there. We have the best time when we visit Blackpool and if you can take a joke you should definitely visit The Castle.
Excellent afternoon spent with girlfriends .... do not attend if you’re easily offended .... be prepared to be the butt of The DJ’s jokes .... banter at it’s best .... however feel that The Castle is losing out on trade as the bar prices are too steep when a lot of other pubs are cheap therefore not as busy as it should be ... lower the prices then more people will come in = great atmosphere and more drinks sold .... no brainer 😎😎😎😎😎😎
Quality place and the Comedian guy was so funny!! Great atmosphere, even at 5pm!! Will definitely be coming back here. Gutted he's not on tonight!
A dozen of us spent the afternoon in there, we never stopped laughing, really great DJ a real comedian.
Absolutely fantastic day DJ was brilliant the atmosphere was amazing full of Luton fans singing. We were even allowed to put flags up outside the pub �One off the best away days �
A great pub with good beer, atmosphere. Great music and live sport. Close to the beach. I was 2 years ago with my boyfriend and I came back. Pub recommendable!
If you do not like being insulted, want 5 star cuisine, silver service etc - don't turn up.
If you want a great atmosphere where the bouncers are not in your face, a great comic good atmosphere - this is the place.

Popped in here for a morning pint before wandering about the pier. It was pretty quiet, but the night before when we walked past, it looked like a real good atmosphere inside. Staff were really nice. My daughter wanted to try and win a toy from one of the machines inside. She didn't win, but a very kind member of staff came across with a soft toy and gave it to her which I felt was a very nice touch. Our next trip to Blackpool we will definitely visit here again.
Had a great afternoon here and the resident DJ that roasts people was hilarious! Don’t go in if you’re easily offended though! We were served really quickly at the bar despite it being very busy. Great afternoon
A Saturday afternoon visit is a real eye opener! Wow! The DJ/comedian is great fun. Stags and hens a plenty were the main customers but we had great fun.

Me and my friends are regular visitors to Blackpool and we always make sure we pay a visit to the Castle.
We're guaranteed a great atmosphere with loads of room for dancing. We know we'll have a good time and it's not disappointed us yet.
On our last visit we got harmlessly, pestered by 2 drunken stray stags.
This was noticed by the doormen and they were watching us closely. They even came over and asked us if we were ok. Great job guys 👏
Of course, by late Saturday night the floors are sticky, the toilets are foul and there's someone throwing up in the street...but it's Blackpool 🤷♀️ and that's why we love it 😊

The resident DJ did not disappoint! Very funny! Careful if you are ginger or wearing leopard print! Great atmosphere friendly staff reasonably priced drinks and a clean pub. No kids allowed will be back again. Happy New Year!

Had a decent drink in a down to earth pub. The DJ was doing his marmite show, he was merciless with some drinkers but thankfully left us alone!
Good for a lads afternoon on the beer, football and sports on TV! Normally a comedian/DJ on of a weekend too.
Drinks are usual prices & no problem with the kids coming in dinner time as I noticed plenty about.
Fantastic atmosphere for pre match drinks, if you are easily offended then stay clear. Local dj gives light hearted banter.
