Came here for an early 30th birthday meal with my husband and 3 children. Lovely friendly staff. Amazing food. Wish I could have gave 5 stars but we had to wait way over an hour for food and by that point the children were fed up of waiting and was past the eating stage.
Gary the chef went above and beyond to cater for our needs as my son has a wheat allergy and the chef made him a gluten free pizza also putting my mind at ease that it would be prepared in a controlled environment to avoid contact with other foods. Good beers on draft . Nice atmosphere, music / juke box needs to be cheaper for better tunes. Pool table on lower floor . Bar staff friendly enough. Very good service from Antony . Will be back soon. šŸ‘
Had a surprise 30th birthday party here. We went with a jamaican theme the food was amazing the staff couldn't do enough for us. Thank you all ! X

Friendly neighbourhood pub with a great atmosphere. Smiling staff always there to welcome you on arrival. We had the opportunity to taste the new menu, which is full of character and has enough variety to appeal to most taste buds. I personally recommend the lamb shank, it was absolutely beautiful,
The Spen Dyke is under new management so we popped in to check it out. The prices were fair, the beer was cold and the food was great. This was the best ever. A group of 7 had just done the Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride. Booked in the Spen Dyke outside table for refreshments. unfortunately it was raining . the landlady provided a lockable area for our bikes and a nice table inside. They could not have done more. Excellent ser

Here for birthday night out for myself and my twin, 7 of us had a meal from the new menu which was lovely, we all enjoyed what we had, you definitely got plenty for your money, we stayed all night and really enjoyed ourselves was good fun. Thank you for a fun night.

Marie is an incredible host, I was surprised to be greeted by such a polite and friendly group of staff from the offset. Every member of the team met us with a smile and the utmost respect. Iā€™d happily recommend the Spen Dyke and I will definitely return here in the future.
