The Roots Street Food

We had the chicken in peppercorn sauce, the chicken was a bit dry but it was better when I shredded it up. The pepper sauce had good flavour and was nicely spicy. The roast potatoes were fab, even though they were a bit steamed- I don't think this was their fault though, I do live kinda far away from the restaurant. Everything arrived hot and earlier than quoted by about 15 minutes. The portions were on the larger side of average, not huge or anything but still good value for money. Overall, we'll definitely be ordering again. It was nice to see a good mix of food, some usual suspects but also good options for those who don't fancy the classic takeaway options.

Went to roots for the first time last night & the food was lovely & so were the family running it. Not the usual takeaway rubbish you expect in blackpool but authentic (edible) food. The Quattro Formagi pizza was the best pizzas I've ever had, with 4 proper cheeses not a mixture of 4 tastless rubbers. The roots burger was lovely & you have never seen a bigger chicken & kebab wrap! Great value for money & good quality fresh food with flavour 👍 thanks guys
