Dawn's Deli

Dawn's Deli is an awesome little deli tucked away in South Jersey. They have all the normal things Deli's provide but the sandwiches and soups are ten times better than Wawa or Heritage. All homemade with their families recipes. Great hot roast beef sandwiches. I haven't tried any soup or sandwich I haven't liked. Definitely eat here instead of the other places if you're working nearby.

I pulled off 95 after seeing PrimoHoagies sign. A little off 95, not too bad. Pulled up to one of the biggest locations I've ever seen. I walked in and instantly noticed a loud obnoxious bald guy with caterpillar eyebrows screaming from behind the counter. He was obviously having a rough day, possibly the manager or owner, freaking out towards his staff about being short handed. The staff, mostly young teens, all kept working with their heads down in silence. The bald guy just wouldn't stop... YELLING, to anyone he even addressed, even customers. Completely unprofessional! I've been in the restaurant business for 20 years and travel all over the country (Google reviewing every place) and this was just an embarrassing situation for him. No wonder he is short staffed if that's what they have to listen to all day. My sandwich was good and the man Ed that did help me with my order was so kind, sweet, and patient. 5 stars for his customer service!

Dawn and her employees are all incredibly friendly and polite, the prices are what I would call "normal", and they always make my sandwiches perfectly. Be aware that means they probably put more meat in than some people would like, though! It's a pretty hefty amount. It is cash only, but there is an ATM with the usual ridiculous independent ATM fees.
