Easily the best fish selection in SA. Plenty of local caught and perfectly cooked fish. Super friendly staff. Definately worth a visit.

Being from Queensland, I wanted to treat my daughter and family living in Adelaide to some fresh reef fish. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Fish Man could supply what I needed. The manager very obligingly offered to fillet a while fresh Red Emperor and he did that perfectly - not one single bone! And the family said it was the best fish meal they had ever had!
So I’ll be back next week to try the salmon from the Fish Man. Congratulations to the staff at the Fish Man Blackwood for your friendly helpful service, and for the high quality product. Good work!

We went there for the first time today only to be told by staff that they couldn't cook any food because they couldn't put the burners on as they had done their quota for the day! What a lame excuse, we won't ever go back again. Go where customers are valued, don't waste your time here!

We have been going to a different fish and chip shop for over 20 years and just recently they have gone down hill so we had to search for another one. We found the best fish and chips ever at The Fish Man!
The fish is so fresh and moist and the chips were fluffy inside. The people are so nice even though it was 45 degrees that day. This is now our new regular chippie 😁😁😁
