Awesome little cafe away from the main street. It's just a little up the main street and You'll see the prominent Yellow Bicycle. My brother and I were walking up that street to look for a lunch option and we were hoping not to have to do Subway for lunch.
We took a look at the menu at the window and we saw a Campfire Pan dish that seemed intriguing. We were there just after the lunch rush and it smelled amazing so we decided to pop in to try it out.
We each got the Campfire Pan with sausage and it came in a small saucepan with thick slabs of artisanal bread and a nice ramekin of delicious butter. While the butter was amazing to have with the bread, the real star is the pan with a delectable mix of beans, sausage, tomatoes topped with an egg and charred just a bit for texture and flavour. Dipping the bread in that saucy goodness was the best way to engulf the bread and I found excuses to get as much of the butter on the bread as well because it was just that good.
We also got the spiced potatoes - forgot what it was called unfortunately. It got scarfed down pretty quickly between us as it was delicious.
The Campfire Pan is a fan favourite for 8 years so definitely worth a try!

Visited the yellow bicycle after a recommendation from a friend and I must say it did not disappoint! Large menu with plenty to choose from, so something for everyone. And the food itself was incredible! Very reasonably priced too! Lovely staff who make it very inviting and a lovely all around vibe. Hands down the best cafe experience I’ve ever had! Will be back soon.

So was looking around the area for some lunch and due to what was a really intriguing and trendy looking menu, I decided to eat here and it for sure didn't disappoint.
If you love a hot chocolate it's also well worth getting with so many different options and they taste great.
The food was delicious and I remember having a bread boat filled with smoked mackerel, spinach and cheese from memory and had to try it as never had anything like that before. Also my accomplice enjoyed his food very much too.
Staff were polite and although busy and the order did take time it was well worth the wait and great value for money. I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely eat here again.

A crowd of 11 of us descended on this place on a Tuesday morning looking for breakfast, we had a bit of a wait as so many of us but the food was glorious, beautifully presented an lovely coffees/drinks too. Thankyou for putting up with our large group with no notice, I’ll certainly be back if we’re in the area again!

I've lived in Blandford on & off since 1976. I love food! However I really love a breakfast! I've never had a full English cooked breakfast this exacting, it was, in my opinion simply outstanding, fresh produce, clearly well sourced ingredients; this will now become a permanent fixture as our guilty pleasure, luckily enough, we only live on Whitecliff Mill Street around the corner. Thankyou Steve, obviously one can see you have won awards for your chef' mastery.
Thankyou so much!

Very tasty coffee and such lovely friendly staff! We had a delicious breakfast, it’s clear that the ingredients are carefully chosen as it all tasted so fresh. Homemade baked beans were a particularly nice touch. Lovely atmosphere and a great start to our weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was fantastic. Service was initially good, but when we'd finished no one asked if it was OK or did we want something else. They were all chatting and on their phones. We would have had cake and another coffee. Shame. We will go back and eat again because the food was so good.
Back today (26/4/23) food delicious. Too full for the cake this time! 😂

What an unexpected treat! This cafe offers such good food, cooked to order. I had the most superb grass fed beef I have tasted in a very long time. Staff are very friendly and the ambience relaxed. Highly recommended for coffee, cakes, or full meals.

Another cycling trip, another fantastic café stop - Based at Wareham we cycled to Blandford Forum vis Tolpuddle & Milton Abbas arriving at the 'Yellow Bicycle Cafe & Deli' in need of food & drinks. Absolutely recommend. Super menu & great coffee. I had griddled beetroot patties with salad & salsa verde on a home made baguette - Super service, super food - Thank You

Fantastic place, very fine tea a perfect place to stop on a bike ride. The owner was very chatty and lovely. Really nice talking about bikes and routes around the area.
The lunches looked extraordinary, they were prepared in front of us fresh to order and I definitely will return for one soon!

Found this fantastic place today on our child-free day out. Had campfire beans and creamy mash with sausages. Perfect comfort food for during this cold weather. Will definitely be back again.

Popped in between meetings and had a sausage sandwhich i asked to take out. I dont think this is something they normally do (could be wrong) but was accommodated nonetheless. Food was made very quick and was absolutely delicious, and the portion is not to be sniffed at, i would describe it as a "doorstop sandwhich"!. Cafe itself has a very cosey feel to it. I will be back for a sit in lunchtime treat next time...thank you :)

Delicious food. It took a little while to arrive, but when it did, it was worth it!

Just moved to Blandford and first time trying The Yellow Bicycle. Best breakfast out for a long time. Can’t wait to come back and try the Specials. The food, not the band ….. although the music is great here too!

So excited to have this outstanding place on our doorstep! The staff are so friendly, welcoming and informative. There are plenty of gluten free options which is great for us and the hot chocolate is my new favourite thing! I believe the produce is local, the food is made freshly and it tastes immense! We always feel welcome with our little one in tow. There's a great changing facility and a space for a buggy should you require it. Can't wait for another visit! We timed it badly for the weather today, but even walking home soggy in the rain, it was still well worth the trip!

We took a trip to Blandford today for the first time in years and popped into this little cafe for a late lunch. Both my husband and I thought the menu was really interesting. We ordered the Dorset Sausage Sandwich which came with a salsa verde and a small dish of pickled vegetables, and a Dorset cheese, ham and spinach flatbread. Both were really delicious. The coffee of the day was great too. I just wish I’d had room for cake. We would highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting or passing through Blandford.

YBC is such a treat to this area, our favourite cafe no doubt. Excellent food, amazing puddings and so friendly! I would go there everyday for a slice of lemon and raspberry cheese cake if we lived slightly closer!

The best hot chocolate ever! If only you could open Sunday's or evenings. I understand you need time off yourselves but if you ever expand hours I'll happily attend for regular hot chocolates

Just had mackerel, beetroot, horseradish on baked flat sourdough...and it was delicious. Lots of other fab things on the menu as well, so we'll be back often.

Without a doubt the best café in town. Cakes are always freshly made and their drip filter coffee is fantastic (have it black). The nicest choice has to be the flatbeds though...
