A great place to have a coffee, a slice of cake after a walk in the lovely Kilpatrick Hills and pick up a nice bit meat to take back home.

We had such a great afternoon at Edenmill Farm shop today. We booked the Alpaca petting experience with the kids (age 8 and 13) and all had a great time. Our guide Lynn was lovely , we got to feed the pygmy goats and alpacas plus the guinea pigs and rabbits as well as handling the chickens. We then spent time picking our own flowers and had lunch in the cafe. Would highly recommend it for a family afternoon out and will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely start to our holiday weekend.

We go here every year with our 2 kids to pick and cut down our own Christmas tree, though you can buy pre-cut trees also. They love walking through the Christmas tree forest looking for the perfect tree, and it's a great memory for them. They like getting a cake and juice from the cafe afterwards, and a play in the play area.

My dad (63) and I (31F) did the alpaca trek experience as a bit of fun and it was great! We had coffee and homemade cake before we went out (very delicious) and lovely lunch afterwards. Very reasonably priced :) If you have little kids it has a huge outside play area and a soft play (although it was closed for refurb when we visited). Also a local butcher counter which we bought sausages from. If you get cold like me you might want to bring a cardigan but otherwise it was a lovely location for an afternoon jaunt.

Fabulous! The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. Cafe does good coffee and baking. Soft play is great - not too big and a super separate area for teeny ones. The animal petting experience is highly recommended - never thought I'd be feeding carrots to an alpaca! The kids loved it ❤

My 2 year old grandson loves this place . Has great fun in the soft play area which has a dedicated toddler area over and above the large frame for older children . Equipment possibly a little tired , but still great fun . Excellent cafe lets adults eat in the soft play area or in the cafe . Outdoors eating possible in summer. The outdoor area has a children’s play area. In the car park there are a few old tractors which my grandson likes to check out !!! Plenty of car parking

Alas not dog friendly due to the cafe cohabiting with the farm butcher. Nevertheless the cafe makes for a most welcome stop at the end of a walk around Burncrooks reservoir. If you have kids, there is a soft play area to keep them occupied. So far, we've visited in autumn & winter months, but it also looks like it would be a great place to visit in the warmer months since it has doors opening to outside seating on the south and west sides, with extensive views across the countryside.

Parked here and went for a walk along some of the John Muir route and around the nearby reservoir. The walk was really good we done about 7 miles and some if the views were spectacular with all the snowfall. The farm shop itself was ok had a cafe are open for takeaways including pizzas and a butchers. Will definitely be back for more walks and the cafe

A very excellent place for those who are looking for a quiet walk and beautiful views, and there are services and a car park that deserves more than 5 stars

Great place for the little ones. We got there at 9:45am and it was still lovely and quiet. Started to pick up as we left, but my daughter had a great time running around the soft play whilst me and her Dad enjoyed coffee and cake.

Visited today and all I can say is the place is in Total disarray- no steak, no buns for rolls a or a burger. Working off one menu for the entire cafe. Two servers under 18 working behind the counter who had no idea what was going on and the poor staff had clearly been deserted of senior staff. Soft play area was freezing cold and unfit for young kids. Restaurant was not much better and was not safe for young kids either. We left and went to a far better cafe restaurant who knew what to do when serving food. Save yourself the experience as I’ve never seen such bad service in my lifetime - don’t go

First time we went it was very good. Went again today and the only good thing was the Cheesecake. Menu, outdoor play area, food and service were rotten. The soft play was closed for a party. The outdoor play area is rusted and basically one big muddy puddle. The menu has been changed from quality professional food to a basic A4 printed snack menu which was cold when it arrived. Someone needs to tell the staff that they dont need to wait for customers to leave before clearing away dirty plates and to make sure that if a customer orders and pays for a drink that someone actually gives them it. I get the impression that they are cutting costs because they are struggling and unfortunately I suspect that they won't last much longer without some serious investment. If I were you I'd go somewhere else. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

I go here quite regularily with my Granddaughter and it gets worse every time I go.The concrete floor looks awful. The equipment is tatty and last time I visited I reported a hole in the netting that my Granddaughter fell through and it still hadnt been repaired as of yesterday so Ive reported it again. Most of the menu in the cafe was unavailable so very limited choice.Meal was tepid and chips overcooked. They advertise ice cream but there is never any in the machine. As in most softplay areas there is unruly children with parents too busy having coffee to supervise them.No staff to keep an eye on them. Unsure if I will visit again.

Visited today for the first time today. There are still some health and safety issues needing to be addressed. The concrete floor is not safe. No staff in attendance at the soft play area. The food took over 15mins eventually went and asked what was happening. Children's meal came in a glass plate. Not a lot of thought has been put into it. Won't return

Five stars for the farm shop mince pie and steak pies mmmmmm. Cafe do a great coffee too. Soft play closed while they address all the feedback - men in sorting floor and putting up bouncy castle. Was a bit annoyed that we'd gone out there and it was closed but given passes for another day...

We've been coming to EdenMill for years. The whole 'organic' experience made our Christmas and it quickly became a tradition of ours to come up to 'Santas Farm' as it became affectionately known, sit in the hay bale cafe, have a hot chocolate, choose our tree, and the best bit...visit the real Santa. Arriving today we found a completely different experience. The cafe was like any other cafe. The Santa different. The hay bales that most kids adored, gone. Replaced by a bog standard soft play experience tucked away from it all. I don't know if there is new management in place but I hate to say it - it's ruined. The 'organic' experience that brought us back year after year after year has completely gone. I'm absolutely gutted for ourselves and EdenMill. You've become bog standard and no different to a million other places. Completely lost your appeal. So so disappointed.

My parents took my 2 children here today. They had major health and safety concerns first and foremost and did infact witness a child be injured as a result of poor flooring. The concrete floor around the soft play frame was not only dangerous but also filthy (2 pairs of socks in the bin). The only frame itself was clearly second if not third hand and was dirty and unsafe in places. The section for babies was round the other side away from the cafe tables so it was impossible to monitor them unless you were with them. The staff were apparently aware there were issues and things were meant to be done prior to opening. In this case the soft play should not have opened when it did and clearly would not meet health and safety recommendations of checked. My parents certainly won't take their grandchildren back again.

First visit today but I am sure we will be back. Lovely selection of fresh home baking - I had a delicious blueberry and bramble scone, and my mums coffee cake looked equally good. Rest of menu included various artisan sandwiches and soups. Large spacious seating area and lots for car parking. Well worth a visit.

Food was great lovely chicken burger but soft play is so run down it's awful constant children injuring themselves due to their concrete floor and after my both boys were left with one swollen face and the other black eye and swollen head due to a ball pit with a concrete base on it we just left probably won't visit again, it's a great concept but really not being used to its full potential

We had my daughter's birthday party here and it was fantastic. The birthday girl and all her friends had a great time. Very good value! Definitely recommend.

We came to play in the Hay towers as last year. We were disappointed it has gone :( Softplay good, but dangerous. One of the mats within ball pit hanging out. The 2milimetre carpet sourounding the softplay not ideal not the rest of the floor being stone! It's a fab place it's close I would Defo recommend Turing your marquees into a magical Christmas theme.

Just driven all the way up here with an excited 3 year old to find a sign on the door saying “now closed”. Last Facebook post with festive opening hours states you were closed up until yesterday. Not great!!
