Couldn't fault anything , I had bellypork with black pudding mash and Apple gravey
Which I highly recommend follower by a lovely lemon mouse
Les had the Turkey with all the trimmings ,
The service was excellent staff are warm and friendly and your made to feel very welcome
Also we would like to send our complements to the chef for a lovely meal well presented

Had a lovely meal yesterday lunch time. Nice glass of red served in a nice glass. Very friendly staff. Will be back to sample the gin selection. Would highly recommend

Went last night for a meal with my family and the food was spot on, the burger (sloppy joes) was really nice and the chip were nice and still serve the lovely Newcastle exhibition �

Myself and 15 other girls had the Christmas Fayre on Saturday night (2nd December) and it was delicious! The service was excellent, food was yummy and the atmosphere was great. Thanks again for a fab night!!

I needed a table for a family gathering of 10 for Sunday lunch at short notice. Earl and the team were excellent and fitted us in without an issue.
Sunday lunch was excellent, great food served hot and no skimping on portion size with plenty of hot gravy.

First visit here today 4 of us had 2 course Sunday (medium) lunch. The portion size was just right so we were all able to manage a dessert. Staff very helpful & polite, was our first visit but wont be our last.

Had lunch with the family. Food was delicious and hot. The beer was nice cold and refreshing the staff were all very helpful and polite. I will definitely be going again.
Absolutely amazing experience. Came here with my grandparents for some tea, had the southern fried chicken and chips alongside the blueberry cheesecake which was all delicious. The service was amazing, the waitresses and bar staff were lovely. Essentially if you're local, definitely give this place a visit!

Often go here for Sunday lunch. Reasonably priced. Take away service also available. Staff always friendly and helpful. Gets very busy if there's a match on.
Throughout all lockdowns since last March we have tried lots of different places for food. Some poor, some decent and a select few that have delivered a cracking meal. The Rosie... is def up there with the best. 4 meals and sides were ordered. The food was still hot when we got it and full of flavour. Everything cooked bang on. My only gripe was not being able to wash it down with a cold pint from the pump (got Boris to thank for that) Will 100% be ordering again soon. Keep it up Earl & the team, better times ahead.

I found the Rose and Crown staff to be very attentive and the food I had from the light menu was really good, it was only ham, egg, chips and a small bowl of salad, but every component was great.
Beers are a little expensive though £3.35 a pint. Ouch. Would I go again? Yes

I love the Rosie. Whether it's quiet or lively the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The foods good and so is the beer. What's not to like.
Had a great night here on Sunday 25th August. Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming.
A live band was playing (Tin Soldiers) who were absolutely fantastic!

Food is really nice, ordered tex mex burger's, which is 2 1/4lb burger's on a brioche bun, chips, followed by hot chocolate fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding, absolute spot and really nice friendly and pleasant staff, totally recommend
My first visit here. I was on my own and had a roast beef lunch, it was delicious. Staff very friendly.
Lovely food at a good price and very nice staff. It has a nice homely feel. There are sports screens at one end but they don't intrude across the pub.
Very clean bar area. Friendly atmosphere. Even though I did not order food the menu looked very appetizing and good value for money. Staff friendly and welcoming.
