We visited Captain Ridley’s Shooting Party in June 2023. The pub is huge and wonderfully decorated, with a massive beer garden to the rear and plenty of outside seating at the front. The pub is full of history, with references everywhere to nearby Bletchley Park from the enigma machine to the bombe machine-inspired carpet.

Easy 4 stars.
Pleasant service and the food arrived swiftly.
The usual value for money from Wetherspoons. Poached egg isn't easy to get right, and this one was marginally overcooked.
Never mind, well worth visiting, particularly on a sunny or dry day (started raining) to enjoy the impressive beer garden landscaping at the back.

Live close by and visit this place regularly - food is almost always perfectly served quickly and the staff are lovely. So glad to have such a nice Wetherspoons in Bletchley, it’s really a hub in the high street. Has a fully accessible changing places toilet too, for those who need it.

This is my favourite place to come either on my own or with my son. Food and drink great prices and people are really friendly. Been going a while now and never had an issue 😁 xx

Always a quick service at the bar, just had breakfast with my wife, 2 breakfasts and 2 mochas with free refills for £14, can't go wrong. Customer service was great, and accommodating, no complaints.

This real ale pub has adequate real ales on the pub is massive the real ales well kept staff good a good to middling atmosphere to this pub and a good out door drinking areas at front and back of pub
This is the only decent real ale pub sadly on Bleatchly full stop
It needs a couple more guest hand pumped ales on to get 5 stars off me sadly

Argyle on tour! I've made it to Bletchley....2 miles from MK Stadium where we play tonight. What else but to visit a new "Spoons"!! And fantastic it is too. Only 4yrs old, rebuilt but on the original site where the intellually brilliant saviours of our nation used to come on route to Bletchley park to unravel Hitlers encrypted codes. They used to masquerade under the pseudonym of "Captain Ridleys shooting party" to hide their identity in 1938. The usual fare, I had a curry on arrival and next morning beans on toast with hash browns. The beer was ridiculously priced at 99p !! Girls serving were great. Can't get used to the fact that over 40 miles from London and everyone talks like a "cockney geezer". Love it !! You can't beat a "Spoons".....

Haven't been here since it was a previous establishment, so pleasantly surprised, totally different. Great selection of food and drinks, catered for all. Inside and outside is amazing, great decor inside, from the front it's deceiving as inside it's huge, the beer garden is great in the sun and has lovely features an AMAZING make over.

Busy Wetherspoons pub at the end of a busy shopping street.
Spacious inside, and reasonably comfortable. Food was good and not too expensive. Fast service, although sadly the place lacks real pub atmosphere. Still good though for eats and drinks! Small car park at the front.

I've paid a lot more in other establishments and recieved a worse service. Cannot fault the efforts of all the staff, and friendly attitudes. Can't be beaten in comparison to prices

Excellent pub. Staff were friendly and constantly working to keep the pub clean. There is loads of outdoor seating in front and back and to the side. The space inside was quite roomy so heaps of space to move around. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar.

We used the online ordering and the food and drinks arrived promptly. We was impressed with the stakes that were cooked to perfection. The staff were only too happy to help and always helped with our requests. The venue is lovely, using heritage items and the gardens in the back. Fairly spacious and family friendly. They have kept it local and on the table we sat at had plugs, USB sockets and dimmers for the lights (table 69). Only issue is parking as it is very limited. But overall an impressive pub. Well done.
