The food is great quality, from local suppliers and the portions are a good size for the price. The staff were really friendly and it had a nice atmosphere

Gorgeous venue with a lovely view! Fab little place with a fab atmosphere. Service was quick and staff were super friendly and helpful. Partner is coeliac and they were able to accommodate for GF Food was really tasty, my eggs Benedict was quite small so next time I’ll be ordering some sides but other dishes were large and filling Will definitely be back!

Came here for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. We'd never been before but will definitely be returning. Food was delicious and the setting both indoors and outdoors is lovely. Sausage, black pudding and egg on the breakfast were absolutely amazing so it was a shame it only came with one sausage. The beans were a bit watery and would have been nicer if they were a bit thicker. Staff were super friendly but service was a little slow for it being as quiet as it was. Overall though really lovely breakfast.

Lovely looking restaurant and the food was amazing. Six of us dined and had a variety of dishes with starters, main course and desserts none of which disappointed. We will definitely be back when we visit Blyth again.

Always a delight to eat here but especially on a sunny day, even if it isn't warm enough to sit out overlooking the river. What a great place for a brunch! My favourite is Eggs Hebridean - two bacon, two slices of black pudding, two poached eggs on a split muffin with spinach and Hollandaise sauce. You can't go hungry. At £8.95 it is a bargain. Also nice Atlantic Pale Ale if it's not too early. Friendly and helpful staff. Note that 'Blyth Boatyard', 'Caboose' and 'Caboose at Blyth Boatyard' are the same place.

Wonderful, fresh food and amazing cocktails. Very polite and helpful staff and a live singer on the night we visited. Lovely atmosphere. Great views out over the river too. A beautiful place! Well worth a visit.

we stumbled across this little gem and we are so glad we did. beautiful setting and atmosphere. the shredded pork started was full of flavour and the garlic prawns were delicious. the hanging kebab with accompaniments was delicious and so was the halibut. the cocktails were amazing and loads to choose from. kids menu was great and the desserts were fun. wish we lived closer and could go every week!

Service was very good, Although our main meals were lovely our nibbles to start were disappointing. 3 little Hoisin Belly Pork Pieces i would say 2 were just fatty pieces dipped in a sauce, they weren't cooked enough. Sticky Sausages were nothing special either🙄

Fantastic food and cocktails. Particularly recommend chicken parmo and smores peanut butter cocktail. The staff are very friendly and happy to advise. It’s very good value for money. The whole place is wheelchair accessible.

This place is bloody lovely and there is another Caboose in Whitley Bay which we will have to try. Booked a table on Sunday night for Bank Holiday Monday and had a lovely experience. Telephoned to say we were running late and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Have bought a gift for a voucher to come here and I want to come back as soon as possible. I have the eggy bread sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it and she had pancakes! What a delicious way to start the day, a definite treat!
