We love coming to Flory! Always the first choice for a birthday, anniversary or date night. We usually book a table but walked in spur of the moment last week and was quickly greeted and seated by a lovely young lady. Amazing food as always!
Incredible food. A gem in the heart of Bodmin! Had a little date night with my wife. We didn't want to travel far and got a booking for Flory. I had a full sole as my main it it was brilliantly cooked. Wine list was good and staff has good knowledge of wine list.
I would recommend Flory to anyone and I'd definitely go back.
What a great place! Food, staff and ambience a delight - background music at perfect volume and lighting was just right too. The perfect place to relax. We were short on time today, but will definitely be back. Thank you 🥰🥂
We stayed at the Bodmin jail hotel who booked this restaurant for us. The manager was very friendly upon welcoming us and took us up to the 1st floor to be seated. The music in the background was very pleasant and made us feel relaxed. Coming from a family background of butchery and farming we are very picky when it comes to our meat. Once you read the menu you quickly realise all the meat is locally sourced from quality producers and also grass fed. I had the sirloin and my partner had the lamb. Followed by a sticky toffee pudding and chocolate & caramel moose. Both courses came out beautifully prepared and tasted amazing.
Wonderful sophisticated restaurant in the heart of Cornwall that has top quality food but very fair prices. Staff warm, welcoming, and supportive to let us have 9month old at dinner without disturbing other guests. Steak was delicious. Wonderful dessert menu and impressive array of alcohol! All food presented very nicely and in a beautiful dining room
The Flory Restaurant is an absolute gem and a must visit if you’re local to or are visiting Bodmin! The service was warm, friendly and professional and the recommendation on the wine was spot on! Every dish we had was delicious and perfectly cooked. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be sure to return next time we’re passing through Bodmin!
Food was amazing here! Came on a family holiday to Bodmin booked this place to eat, the food didn’t let us down at all, it tasted great, food portions were a great size and above all the staff were really friendly and welcoming! Would love to come again when I go back to Bodmin! There is great parking nearby which was free of charge and the little town was a great place to walk around after the meal.
Supper lunch after our Fathers day steam train ride just up the road. Friendly attentive service and a truly wonderful menu. Take a look at the Pork Wellington and belly pork!

We had a Cornish Breakfast with the delicious bacon & a Duck egg Florentine with spinach and mushrooms . A talented professional chef and all at the price you would pay for the ordinary.
Can’t wait to go back to try the evening meal. Best wine list I have seen for many years.
Lovely restaurant fine food. The upstairs restaurant has v different vibe downstairs, which is tapas and brunch. Great flavour and they even know how to cook veg properly! Something that shows the thought that has gone into the menu is that each dish is served with different potatoes. All well cooked good value, if I had to try to find anything that could be improved...the braised red cabbage with the pigeon starter could have been richer, but hey!
