Lovely location and food to die for! We had a cream tea for two, pulled pork ciabatta and a doorstep sandwich. All were delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. Cannot recommend highly enough
Cakes r to die for and the ham and coleslaw door step sarnies r always a welcoming treat after a lovely woodland walk definitely recommend
We visited for the first time today after a walk round the woods. 5 Star, fantastic cream tea/cheese tea and doorstep sandwich (we were hungry after our doggy walk) Would definitely recommend a visit, scrumptious!
Such a beautiful place, as a local I go back probably a little too often! The staff always go out of their way to give you warm welcome and are even happy to pass on one of their amazing recipes.
Oh my goodness this is such a beautiful place that is just as wonderful in real life as it is in the pictures!
The staff are kind the cakes are stunning with beautiful scenery and fab walks to all go with it.
This is our second home for me my husband and our 8 children we all have such amazing times spent here making memories.
You really should come everyone will love it xx
Great service. Fabulous food and drink. The setting in Cardinham Woods makes it a perfect place to stop for a break, a meeting or refreshments before going home
Great little cafe that we visited after walking one of the marked routes. Cream tea was a massive portion and served lovely and warm. Love the mismatched china and feel of the place
Always a highlight and a must when on holiday in Cornwall!! Absolutely gorgeous cream tea in a beautifully countryesque setting. Love it!!!
What a wonderful find . So beautiful.felt like being in a fairy tale Food fantastic . Friendly lovely staff we will be back -- thank you .

Beautiful setting for this cafe in the Cardinham Forest. They have tables outside for the sunny days and seating inside for the not so warm days. The decor is really nice and the food was really tasty. The location also gives you the option of going for a walk in the forest to walk off your meal. Please note that the parking is not free for non members.
We've been coming to Cornwall for 30 years and never knew this little gem existed. A beautiful stone building tucked deep in Cardingham Woods. Surrounded by beautiful forestry, a well maintained play area with plenty of seating, nature trails, ample (paid) parking, and a quaint little ice cream hut. The only reason I haven't given a 5*, perhaps unfairly as there is little the owners can do but is relevant to the guest experience, is the swarm of wasps disturbing those eating outside. In addition, we were joined by a horse rider who brought her horse into the seating area. A pretty spectacular sight until it emptied it's bowels right in the middle of the eating area giving off the most tremendous stench and clearing the area. Unless the rider was carrying a black bag and a shovel, it's probably still there. We didn't hang around to find out. Manuregate aside, the team are extremely friendly and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Newquay.
Beautiful and cosy. Delicious vegan chocolate cake and an amazing coffee. Open fire place and nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Fresh soup and quick service!
After a family walk around the woods we popped in for a cream tea. Possibly the best cream tea ive had, 2 lovely fresh warm fruit scones with a decent amount of jam and cream to suit and washed down with a cuppa. Hit the spot perfectly and my wife even got me to drive back 3 days later 😍. Staff are great and friendly.
Great food, service, atmosphere and setting. Huge cream teas and delish coffee. Love!
Excellent cafe in cardinham woods which itself a lovely place for a stroll or longer walk if you wanted. Very dog and kid friendly with a park suitable for most ages just to the front of it. Decent range of food and drink mainly coffee, tea and sweet stuff I think. There's also a separate kiosk like place to get ice cream.
Coffee is very good actually one of the best in the area they even do a dirty chai. As you would imagine it's not cheap and it gets very busy during peak times but it's definitely worth coming to - if you can come early.
Great little café right next to the parking so really accessible. Great cream tea and scones!
Nice scones, but not everyone wants them hot, especially with clotted cream. Disintegrated when cut, took back for a cold one. Friendly staff. Cuppa good.
We paid the cafe visit after a nice walk around the river walk at the woods, and they had the most amazing selection of ice creams which was very refreshing. This place is definitely worth a try if you fancy a light refreshment or a snack.
We enjoyed a savoury cream tea, cheese scones, cheese and chutney. Fabulous will definitely go again. It was busy but service quick and efficient
Lovely cafe set in beautiful woodland. The food was very tasty. They cater really well for vegetarians. We'll recommended.
Absolutely delicious! Best Bacon, Brie and Cranberry Ciabatta ever! I could have eaten around 10 of those! The scone was lovely and warm too, freshly baked and also amazing. Definitely recommend. We stopped here on a whim and so glad we did.
Amazing food, plenty of vegan options for our friend, and the staff were lovely too! What more could we ask for after a 3 hour walk!
Lovely location and very tasty food! It's not that clearly signposted but when you get there it's idyllic. Plenty of options for where to sit - in or out or in the back garden - and all very nice. We had Cornish Cream Tea and a few cakes and were not at all disappointed. Quick service and friendly staff too.
Lovely little cafe in Cardinham Woods. Nice food and drink. Loads of inside and outside seating. Quite pricey, but that’s typical of these kind of places. The day I visited was very busy and the service provider was probably tired and was a little abrupt. All good though 👍🏻
A welcoming, cosy and friendly atmosphere and staff. Food and drinks always fresh and tasty with generous portion sizes.
A lovely little cafe with a good choice of food and drinks, plenty of seating inside and out and a welcome site after a lovely stroll along the paths or after a bike ride..
