By chance stopped for a coffee, very good quality. Tried a little bean cake and a meat pastie, delicious 😋. Staff very friendly. Would recommend.
We decided to try the tavern for food today, we went for the cheese board, steak sandwich and we tried the special it was all excellent. The food was all fresh with a fast service. The service was outstanding, we we're greeted with a friendly welcome and the host stopped to talk to us and explain what was in the dishes. Just a 5 star all round experience and we will be back.
Specials, got to try them. The cuttle fish and chips.... stunning. Tiny mackrel, floured, deep fried, crisp and full of flavour. Good beer, home made cake. What an afternoon.
