Lovely restaurant. Great service as always. The food is second to none. Everything is home made and the deserts are so interesting and just delicious. Its also very refreshing that when going out for a meal you can actualyy hear your partner in conversation,so many pubs whilst there food is good are so often noisy.

Cannot believe this was our first time here. Absolutely superb meal. Couldn't fault it. Will certainly be back again. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and would 100% recommend the mackerel strarter. Deffo a place to try out if you fancy a cosy night out.

On Sunday 10 of us enjoyed an excellent lunch at The Malthouse. Those who chose the Sunday roast really enjoyed the quality and quantity of the food. For those who chose from the interesting main menu we were all delighted with our choices. My whole Dover sole was perfectly cooked and presented. The range of home made desserts was impressive. In particular the profiteroles were light and full of cream. To top it all the service was friendly and efficient. We all agree on the 5 star rating.

This is a hidden gem I walked past it so many times !!! Staff are great and the Sunday roast amazing . I also went back on a weeknight and had great vegetarian wellington . If you are in Felpham and want a restsurant experience rather than pub then give this place a try
