It was are first visit and we found the place to be very inviting with a nice ambience. The staff were warm, polite and attentive when serving us. These is a good variety of food on the menu which when ordered was served quickly and was well cooked and hot. You are allocated an hour and a half per sitting but such was the efficiency of the kitchen we had finished the entire meal in less than an hour. On the whole a very enjoyable experience.
Food was as usual excellent. The waitress we had was so attentive, l wish we had asked her her name so l could let you know who she was. Here is a brief description. Very pretty girl, long black hair, with braces on her teeth. Such a good waitress. Thank you for the lovely meal.
Really lovely place and lovely staff. Love the carvery! I have a food intolerance and all staff were aware and went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after and everything was wiped down and there was no cross contamination. Very impressed!

Booked online for a table for my daughter and myself with a high chair for my granddaughter. Arrived at alloted time slot, shown to table and drinks order taken after 5 minutes. Had a lovely carvery. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend
First visit. We had the Sunday Carvery. Reasonably priced. It was fine as a lunch. The food could have been a bit hotter. £7 for two diet lemonades.
Sticky table and the material chair seats were extremely stained.
We probably won't eat there again.
Was in Bognor for the day and booked the Charlie Purley for a carvery. Very glad I chose this place the roast dinner was exceptional. The best cauliflower cheese I have had. You can select from three sizes this time we went for a small, it was more than enough. Service was speedy but certainly no rush for you to pay up and leave. Seemed to be family friendly with areas to keep younger children entertained. The staff were all lovely attentive and friendly. One of the best Sunday carvery's I've had and very reasonably priced. I wish I lived near here as I would be having Sunday lunch on a regular basis. Well done to all the staff at this venue and thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch
Excellent selection of beers on draught, menu usual Marston's, went for spicy burger it was very nice.
Carvery was a little bland looking, not much meat on the bone, so not very inviting.
Dog friendly though with their own menu, our's had 2 x sausages 🤣
Party of 12 visited, 6 adults and 6 children. We were all very impressed!!!! Staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating, the service was outstanding and the food was absolutely amazing!!!! We had a mix of food, some had carvery, while others had a variety of burgers and chicken dishes. The children had fish fingers and chicken dippers. Everyone was very happy a full. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit so worthwhile x
Had a really delicious roast dinner here whilst we were away. Michelle behind the carvery counter was such a lovely and welcoming lady - very helpful and her roast potatoes are absolutely to die for! The food was very nice and we were surprised that our bill wasn't a lot higher for the quality of the food. The lady serving our drinks was very friendly - she was new and wasn't sure on what cocktails were served or what they contained but she spent the time to go and find out for us. After a little more training she will be doing an even more fantastic job than she is ready :) thank you again to all at The Charley Purley for giving us a fantastic experience.
We were a party of 13 and we had a very pleasant visit.
We really liked the fact the order was taken at the table. We had one slight problem when one of the dishes came out was incorrect but it was sorted quickly and without any fuss.
