Excellent experience , staff were warm and welcoming, we needed a place that catered for halal. And wanted authentic desi food. We loved it. Its about 5 min from butlins resort. We had veg homemade samosa chaat and sev papri chaat delicious. We had lemon drink and punjabi chai. The chicken pakora and popcorn bites on point. We also had tarka daal and butterchicken. Just amazing taste flavours. We are pakistani punjabis and food did not disappoint us. Thank you for an amazing experience .
I'm just home after enjoying a fabulous Christmas menu with my husband, son, and girlfriend. Service was amazing food delicious. There are so many flavours, not grease at all. Just superb. If you want to try something a bit different, you can’t go wrong with café Punjab! Thank you.
What a gem of a place this is. The staff are clearly passionate about what they do and the quality of the food is of the utmost importance to them. We ate vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. Although on the expensive side, the quality of the food was well worth it. These are not large portions though, so remember that if you have a large appetite. The waiter did upsell a few things, which we were pleased about, if he hadn't I don't think we would have felt full. The decor is quite idiosyncratic, which added to the charm of the place. We were made to feel welcome and felt unhurried despite not having booked. Booking is recommended because the restaurant gets very busy. The access is wheelchair friendly.

What a little gem this place is...food is lovingly made just like home cooked. The head chef Kamal is amazing chap always smiling and happy to assist in anyway possible to make your dining experience a joy...keep it up Kamal! I will be returning very soon.
We dined in last Sunday early eve. The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. I ordered samosa starter and lamb spicy curry. Was delicious. We sat outside as the sun set. Popular and great place. Would recommend.
We were on holiday for less than a week otherwise we would have gone here again! The food is different to traditional curry and absolutely wonderful. The menu is fabulous and the service impeccable. They were exceedingly willing to answer any questions we had about the menu and make suggestions for us. The atmosphere is very relaxed, as the name suggests its interior is café like but smart enough to feel like a proper night out venue. I can not recommend this place enough. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
I came to Bognor for work and every single night during my stay, I came to cafe Punjab. Every time I’ve been greeted with such kindness and lovely service. So welcoming and friendly. As for the food - my god, 10/10 delicious!!!! I can’t fault my experience here. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Bognor, you’re in for a treat! Thank you to everyone at cafe Punjab for making me experience so lovely and always making me feel like I want to come back for more!!
After loving our takeaway last week, we couldn’t wait to eat in this lovely new restaurant and it did not disappoint! Every dish was delicious, and authentic. The thali was great! Best way to try different curries. I also recommend the mango lassi. Very impressed with the food and the service, extra special touch that the chef came to ask how everything was. We’ll be back!
One of the best Indian food restaurants in the entire city. Visit, and experience it. Soo yummy. I have to say here I had the best cuisine I ever had before.
