Lovely food, great staff recommend the tandoori options as the mixed grill was amazing

What an experience. Absolutely fabulous. Wished I lived nearby as would make this a local of mine. You order from the bar lounge first, then your then to seating. Food was so tasty. Went back on Wednesday 26th October 2022 with family. Enjoyed another great meal. I've added another 15 photos, which also includes the menu. The starters we had were Tandoori King prawns (3 spicy grilled prawns) at £5.95 and King Prawn Butterfly (shallow fried king prawns with a crunchy coating) at £6.10. For main course I had Chicken Tawa (Succulent pieces of chicken cooked with green chillies, red peppers, bay leaves and cinnamon providing a rich base; various turmeric powders are also used giving it a distinctive taste. Presented on a cast iron plate) This dish comes out sizzling. We also had rice, nans and a side dish of Bindi Bhaji (Okra) at £4.50.

Brilliant friendly staff and excellent food, I'd even go as far as to say its the best Indian food I've ever had. And I come from the area of the balti. The amount of lamb in my meal was tremendous. Can't recommend this place highly enough

Love it. Set in what was a pub at some point with lots of parking. We sat in a lounge first with the obligatory pond and fish tank and had drinks whilst reading a menu which was huuuge. Shown into a stunning dining room we then had an impressive array of pickles which were excellent. My starter was chicken samosas but that was not what I ordered. Tasted lovely so I wasn't worried. Then I had an awesome tikka with mango because I hadn't had it before. Was awesome. Downside was it took nearly two hours to eat as they were short staffed. But as it was Ramadan that seems reasonable. Would definitely go here again. Loved the food. Randomly the pickle tray was my favourite

Restaurant quality food at home!!! Service is always spot on, but tonight they went above and beyond. Our little uns favourite is a simple poppadom....... these were omitted from the delivery. Driver literally headed back to Restaurant, picked up poppadoms, more than ordered, full chutney tray and complimentary beer (I had the beer though)!!! Thank you to everyone at Viceroy. Great food, great service.

Found this place through my daughters recommendation when she lived in Bollington. I travel 8 miles when there's lots more take-outs within a few minutes of my home in Hazel Grove. Why? Because the food is that good - Sagor Salmon is the best flavoursome curry I've ever had. My wife has Chicken Dilrubar ( a cheesy dish) - we always order those two and others for freezing.

Brilliant experiance from start to end. Excellent service and the food was great and menu reasonably priced. Good choice of food and drinks superb atmosphere light and airy atmosphere. Worth visiting.

Early evening service - excellent attention but be advised, if you aren't very hungry don't get the 4 person's special. We wasted too much but it was tasty. Good job lads.

Had a lovely meal here, service was great and the venue was even more enjoyable once inside, very posh and great views to the rear of the restaurant

My family and I have been coming to The Viceroy since it first opened.I must say that it is my favourite place to go,the food is fantastic,the location is stunning and the staff are brilliant.I cannot fault it at all.I would recommend The Viceroy to anyone and have done over the years.Well done you guys,we think you are the best.xxxx

Although our on line booking was not forwarded by Quendoo the staff were amazing and accomodated our family of 6, the food was amazing and the staff attentive and friendly, a lovely end to our Mother's day celebrations, we will definitely be back x

First time visiting last Sat and was really disappointed. Food nice but only luke warm. Service slow even tho not busy! Ran out of Lime pickle. No milk for tea after meal and ladies toilets disgraceful!!!! Such a shame as family meal treat out. We won't be rushing back ...

120 very happy people after enjoying ourselves last night. Food, DJ and company GREAT....would certainly recommend the Viceroy to anyone who likes Indian food.... Thank you for providing a very well run restaurant....

Went for a meal with the children.... When we were shushing them, we got told "This is a family restaurant, let them enjoy being here" From that moment on, we enjoyed it too and have been back many times since (much to the disappointment of the fish)...... Amazing meals too. Consistently excellent food and fabulous staff

Went on for a family meal on Saturday 30th December (evening) staff was very pleasant but very slow (even though it was not busy) we had poperdoms with dips and pickles when we asked for if we could have more lime pickle the first waiter said yes then just did nothing when a second waiter was asked we were told they had ran out.... The wait between courses was about 15 mins for no apparent reason like I have already said they were not busy.... When the main course finally came out one of the dishes was wrong one of our party asked for a chicken jelliebuna and got a chicken jellfressi (sorry about the spelling) and even though the quality of the food was good it was barely warm let alone hot... After the mains we also ordered sweets and coffees plus one of our party ordered a cup of tea, it came out with no milk.. When we asked if we could have some milk for the tea we was informed they had run out of milk, yes run out of milk..... When I mentioned the poor service, getting the meal wrong and running out of items all i got was simple sorry, so I paid the bill left a tip and left.... I really can’t understand why they actually opened on Saturday evening....!!!!!! I’m sorry to say that I will not be returning to The Viceroy again which is really a shame because it’s not my first time here and it was really nice the last time I went.....

Second trip to this restaurant.......food generally very good but on this occasion the onion bhajis were excessively dry and seemed like they had been under the heat lamp for 2 hours plus!!

Food was amazing, portion size generous, quick, friendly service.

I’ve been going for around 24 years now. At least once a week. In this time I’ve had two slightly tough chops and a floppy popadom all rectified. On busy night you may have to wait for your food as they don’t let the quality drop. Good food takes time. They are always courteous and will try all they can to please.
