Never saw this coming on first trip to Bolton in 47 years. This old market building is lovely and in the vaults is said bar. Excellent ambience to suit all ages. Pint of Deeply Vale Grey T'Ale. Very good. Wife taught local kids who are now pushing 60! Where did the time go.Bolton pub crawl going gre
Called in early morning for a good cup of coffee and a chat with a friend in pleasant surroundings. Eventually moved onto a very good German beer of which there was a few. Cannot really comment on the atmosphere or food but it was early morning so would imagine it to be a very friendly and open spac
Great pub.good choice of beers + craft. Valued ceiling 4 h/ pulls.
24/06/22: another new favourite at The Vaults. 'Great Ale', does indeed have a great choice of ale! Welcomed in with live music. Fantastic choice of beers, ciders, wines and nibbles! Had my favourite Neck Oil to calm the pre-wedding nerves for tomorrow! May need another!
Great service! always friendly and helpful... Good beers too.... Nice relaxing atmosphere.
Only two stars because it was lunch time and only us in, will come back at a different time. Beer excellent.
Spent an afternoon chilling in the Cave bar. Nice range of cocktails and draft beer, and a small range of board games. They are slowly expanding this range, but it is a clever idea which turns a nice but simple bar into a fun chillout spot to hide in with friends.
Fabulous bar in Victorian Vaults. Four great cask ales always available. Friendly staff great atmosphere.
Good place to take the family and beer cheap..
A gem of a bar down in The Vaults. Try a pint of the Dortmunder Union pils, it's rather good. The meat platter is pretty tasty too.
