Went today to celebrate our sons birthday. After ringing to make a reservation on Friday for Saturday. I was they had 2 large bookings already for the same time. After explaining that our little boy is autistic and it's his 1 and only favourite place to eat out. The staff arranged for us to be placed in a quieter area of the pub but explained there maybe an expected wait for food. Which there wasn't the food was great as always and we had a lovely meal with family and friends. Thank you again for being so accommodating we had a very happy little boy.
Went in on Saturday with my wife to be the starter came quickly and was just right we had the sharing nachos and in some places you end up with the soggy ones at the bottom NOT here my friends crunchy all the way... I was very busy on Saturday so had to wait a little longer than we should but staff were keeping us informed and boy it was worth the wait everything worked the explosion of flavours were fantastic iv eaten in many of pubs and this has to be in my top 3 bravo James and your team you got it spot on
One criticism Black Forest sundae few more sauce and cherries but that’s me I like more sauce wife said it was enough with out being over powering well done coming back next week 110%
We visited Southfield today for Valentines Day meal.
It was delicious very nicely cooked.
I had the New Yorker which is a steak with Mac and cheese, and we had a nice bottle of wine �

Absolutely love Southfields the classic mixed grill is the best I have ever had . Service is great staff are very friendly and helpful and it's very reasonably priced
Brilliant place to eat and drink. Exceptional food, value for money, excellent service from a smiley Carys and Tim when I visited a week ago. Highly recommend this place, been a few times, and I'll be back again. Buttermilk chicken burger is great, but the sizzling steaks are the real show stealer on the menu. Great smells through the restaurant when the skillets come out, and even better atmosphere.

Great food, comes out piping hot and well presented.
Wonderful service from staff, always asking if everything's okay or if we need anything. And they don't get sidetracked or forget to return if we do need anything.
Second time we've visited and will 100% be returning! (Even the kids have asked to go for their birthdays 🤣).

Amazing value for money, especially with small children in the current cost of living crisis. Great level of room/tables for your meals and a good variety of menu for adults, children, vegetarian etc. Very impressed with the combination of offers and if you sign up to their newsletter you instantly receive a £5 off voucher. Will definitely be back.

The new pork belly is yummy but the mega mix grill was awful im afraid, (wanted the surf and turf but out of stock the app said) the chicken and gammon were cold and the onion rings. No one came to check on us otherwise we would of said something. Dissapointed.
Had a great family meal here to wish my niece a safe and happy time as she sets off for university. Food service and atmosphere were all brilliant and helped to make the night fantastic.
Went there with my daughter it was OK but the curry was all sauce and not much chicken the poppadoms where stale . well I'm going to give it another go today I'm going back there today with my granddaughter hope I enjoy the food well what a shame once again granddaughter had chicken burger I had the chilli absolutely disgusting tasted like water I even asked someone else to taste it and they said the same I don't think it is good food here at all so I will not be returning 2 ** for me
A great Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon & evening spent with great tribute acts performing at Live On The Lawn. Brilliant atmosphere. Meal was beautiful, served timely with spot on service from Rachel. We will definitely be returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such a good pub & restaurant! Menu has a large variety of food and such good value for money! Always enjoy our time here and will definitely be returning for more!
The food terrible, service awful and we waited for our order 1 hr , we had to ask for everything, mayo, no forks and knifes, no napkins. I don't want to come back anymore. This is was 10th june 2023 at 6pm when we arrived
Great food their Salad is the best. I'm a vegetarian so good choices for me. Had birthday meals here. Great atmosphere. We come to the Quiz every Thursday written by Kev ,run by Mark. Bar staff Angie, Holly,Katie and the wonderful Lou and not forgetting Chef Tony.

Just had my grandads 85th birthday in the function room, was lovely! Staff even helped us take precious family photos. Much appreciated
Absolutely loved this gem ❤️. Great place at a nice quiet location. Great food and drinks menu. Very friendly staff as well. This will be our regular now!
Called for a little bite to eat, food was good, service was good.
My only concern was the smell of urine where we were sitting over near the conservatory side, hopefully when we visit again this issue will be sorted
